I don't know what people see in this band tbh
Thank you for your massive contribution to this thread.
really? muse is like a poppy radiohead ripoff, to be blunt about it. i mean i love both bands very much but when it comes down to it... well the truth stands dude.
POPPY?! What the fuck!? [editline]09:15PM[/editline]
/facepalm. I never did understand where this bullshit came from. Muse's musical style is nothing like radiohead's, except that they're both alt. Rock. The closest they came to eachother would have to be the bends and showbiz, and even then they were miles apart. Matt bellamy's voice is also easily distinguishable from thom yorke's (they could probably imitate eachother's singing voices quite well but they don't, so my point still stands). Sure, muse might have been influenced by radiohead but that doesn't mean that they're ripping them off, at all.
listen to this man. Hell, If I had a band I'd be greatly influenced by Muse and RadioHead.
I have all their albums. They're great.
I really like Yorke's solo acoustic performances.
I like radiohead. I do not like muse. Also, muse writes about 5 lyrics to each song and just draws them out. "BUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUURN YOU WILL BUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUURN" etc etc. it is actually quite funny when you take notice of it
really? muse is like a poppy radiohead ripoff, to be blunt about it.
You're listening to the wrong albums.
You're listening to the wrong albums.
Why? They're still muse albums. And they could very well sound a lot like a poppy radiohead ripoff. Yet, that's funny, that's Muse playing that album! So I guess muse CAN sound like a poppy readiohead ripoff if it's the 'wrong album', his opinion stands, and I tend to agree with him.

I can listen to two of their songs in a row and won't even know the song has changed.
how did i know this wouldn't end well radiohead fans are assholes and people who like muse are assholes people who like them both, are shunned just what it seems to me

"In Rainbows" was the best album of 2008 IMO. Anyone know if they have any plans to do anything new soon? Apart from Harry Patch "In Memory Of" of course.
In Rainbows was released in 07
God I'm stupid Was it that long ago? I feel old They make an album about every 2 years so.. I guess we can expect some new stuff soon?
They've said that they started recording their new album in May. It's not unreasonable to assume that there will probably be something new by fall next year.
I honestly don't see what was so great about In Rainbows.
I honestly don't see what's so good about your face, but the women sure seem to like it. [editline]07:38PM[/editline] Reckoner is fucking amazing.
What the fuck is fall?
yeah reckoner is probably among my most favorite songs of all time
What the fuck is fall?
One of the four seasons.
What the fuck is fall?
Like Septemberish.
Like Septemberish.
A whole year? S'pose it's better than being a Guns 'n Roses fan
I don't like Fitter Happier. The lyrics make me feel really uncomfortable. I seem to remember the urban legend behind this song (don't know how much truth there was too it) was Thom was going through one of his depressed streaks, he took a load of magazines and cut loads of random sentences from them and the song was born. It just makes me so uncomfortable,I always end up skipping it.

Fitter Happier and Paranoid Android are the only songs I really like.
I honestly don't see what was so great about In Rainbows.
In Rainbows was a Master Piece. Like all of Radiohead's Albums.
No, it was bland. They only have a couple good albums anyway.
your face is bland i give all radiohead albums 10 out of 10 except for pablo honey i give it a 6.8
