Going to the dmv to take my written test today :buddy:
Came so close to ditching my car yesterday. Was coming round a tightish bend and I could see it was clear, although the road was slightly damp so I booted it, the car started to understeer so I lifted off to correct, as I did a got a major dose of lift-off oversteer and the back end came swinging round. I could see a sign post as the car headed towards the kurb. I managed to hold it for a second with opposite lock, then the rear was snaking from left to right. I was steering into each sweep and managed to hold it together in a straight line and got it back under control. As I slowed to catch compose myself a chap in a BMW pulled up alongside me, looked at me with a grin on his face wagging his finger before speeding off. It was a huge "Oh shit!" moment when I saw the sign post as only having third party fire & theft meant any damage comes out of my own pocket. Quite impressed that I had the instinct to steer into the oversteer and hold it but will be a bit more careful from now on!

One less of those terrible things on the roads.
I used to drive one of those terrible things... And can vouch they are terrible! I still loved it though.
Me and my friends were crossing the road, then a guy in a Rexton stopped for us, suddenly this guy (a young driver) didn't see it, and banged right up his arse... the Rexton had minor dents, this corsa was fucked... Me and my friend were scared as shit, seeing as he could've driven us over...
Did you just wreck that?
This happened just today.. we were crossing the road..

Congrats man. Have a car lined up yet?
I want a skyrine. white r33 gtr. just like ferosso's friends'
This damn -20F weather makes my oil extremely thick, my engine ticks until it warms up
Bought the Corolla, running smooth. Only problem is the chair feels a bit too close to the steering wheel, my knees nearly hit the steering wheels, and I'm not extraordinarily tall (Only around 5'11" or maybe even 6ft) And I've moved the chair as far back as it can go. The car is very nice though. Immaculate seats, clean interior, low kilometres, new battery, shocks, etc etc.
well they do make those cars for short japs you might be able to get the rails moved back [editline]28th January 2011[/editline] also autocross it
[editline]28th January 2011[/editline] also autocross it
fwd low power econobox?
Should have wrecked instead so you could be on the failed drifters list like all of us cool kids.
Would have been uber failed drifter considering it's a FWD :v: One of the better handling FWD drives though, you can only tell when you're on the limit and it begins to understeer... Swiftly followed by biting your head off if you lift off!
Congrats man. Have a car lined up yet?
starting to think i should wait a year or so for a car, so i have like 7 or 8 grand since there seems to be nothing in the 3500 area. looked at an explorer at a dealership (pos) and a manual 2004 focus (hotness) If i seesly dont find a car i would consider that focus since its manual /shmooze/
Got my fuckin benz yesterday! I'm so in love.

What a pimp Benz. Bet you'll get all the chicks with that.
If you live in the UK then avoid www.motorsportworld.co.uk at all costs! I've been waiting 6 weeks for a new exhaust from them now. 6 Fucking weeks, I didn't order it to bling my car up either, my current exhaust has a huge gaping hole in, costing me in fuel each week and the car is down on power. Despite this their shit customer service still didn't do fuck all, no sense of urgency there. Their prices may be lower than the rest but the service is fucking useless. They've had £600 of my money and tell me fuck all, I end up having to bypass them and speak to the manufacturers to get any updates. The only reason I haven't had a refund off the cunts is because they exhaust is sitting ready to go so there's no point wasting time to have it made up elsewhere, the manufacturer have been having account troubles with MotorSportWorld so couldn't ship, no fucking wonder, you keep customers waiting that long, you lose business. I should have got a refund weeks ago, my own fault for being the patient British mug. Cunts! [/rant]
Sucks man. Are you just going to wait?
