I once raced someone in a crappy Golf and won. Never did it again afterwards because i could tell from the blinking shit on the dash that my car is not quite fond of rapid gear changes and taking corners fast. :ohdear:
Does the americans get the Peugeot RCZ? It was voted the gay car of 2010 here, lol. We had a 190 hp one for test last year. But it's pretty gay [img_thumb]http://i29.photobucket.com/albums/c289/Ferosso/IMG_4032.jpg[/img_thumb]
There hasn't been any Pugeot in Canada at least, and likely America too, since the 1980s. When they were here, they were piles of crap that disintegrated around you because they weren't built to survive our winters, or rather our de-icing methods during the winter (salt, salt everywhere).
also my local ford dealership had this recently: [img_thumb]http://a3.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc4/hs726.snc4/64644_10150102768674968_118999829967_7441184_2411273_n.jpg[/img_thumb] what a bitchin truck
The Farmer in my mom's Village has one, uses it as a farm truck. See him doing 50mph across his feild all the time in it.

It does look really cool. Are French cars in general fun to drive?
Diesel or gas?
what kind of question is that, of course its Diesel
Man Halfords (General motoring shop chain in the UK) try and charge ridiculous prices. I need an ISO adaptor and a new fascia to install a new stereo in my car. They wanted £50 for both of the parts. A plastic stereo surround and a 4 wire adaptor, £50... Ebayed them both for lesss than £10. Can't believe people will actually pay their prices! On another note. Can anyone tell me how difficult it is to replace a rear lower control arm on the suspension set up? I've always avoided touching my own suspension as that's not an area I want done wrong but I can't afford to replace the bushings, the garage want £300+. It may be cheaper to replace the lower control arm as a whole. I've had a look myself and the only problem I can see me running into is getting the bolts off either side of the bushes, there's not much room to get my hands in thanks to the fuel tank. Has anyone ran into major problems? Or know how long it would take to replace?
So I have a few car questions and I decide to ask fellow FPers like I have in the past. I go into Gd and search for a good 15 minutes, until I realize that it must be somewhere else. Well, I found the thread...... Anyways. Due to full time school, and less than part time work, It is getting harder for me to afford gas for my Mustang GT. That and me and my friends arent very comfortable in it anyways. I decided to get a four door car with a smaller engine. I dont like Jap cars. I came upon a 1997 dodge stratus with 160,000 miles on it. Here is the add for it:
hello my name is Canelo and im trying to sell my 98 dodge stratus cuz need the money.
what kind of question is that, of course its Diesel
Sadly gas f250s exist so the question has to be asked.

(The exterior at least)
A 98 Dodge Stratus has about 0 redeeming features over a Mustang GT of any year. That car sounds like it may have been in an accident - you don't normally need to replace the motor mounts or oil pans without some kind of damage to them.
It has better gas mileage, and is roomier, and has four doors. My mustang sucks up gas, is cramped, and annoying for people to get into. I need something that I dont have to worry about fixing small things here and there. (door panel coming loose, blinker handle getting stuck etc..)

Stratus's already have a shitload of little niggles as it is. I would stick with the Mustang until something better comes along. Prima's right, it definitely sounds like it could have been in an accident. Probably ran over a rock or something that would jar the mounts and bend the oil pan.

I was going to borrow The $1800 for the car from a friend and then sell my mustang and pay it back. Stratuses have a bunch of small problems? I read that many many people like them. That sucks. Im really starting to get tired of my mustang. I have no money to fix the small things and it bugs me.

Oh trust me, Im trying to get a job. At least one that offers more hours. im barely getting enough to pay for insurance. you guys may be right, thanks for the advice. But I still want a roomier, smaller engine-ed, car. [editline]31st January 2011[/editline] I put my mustang up for sale and a bunch of people want it. What car do you guys recommend around the $2000 range?
Civic
I raced a Eighth gen Civic Si yesterday. My dad was getting tires so I went with him so he wouldn't have to sit there the whole time. After we dropped off his car we decided to drive down to a local junkyard to look for some parts for the miata. On our way there I was just cruising at about 60 in a 55 and I hear a downshift so I look in my rearview and see a civic dart out from behind a car and fly past me. I downshift and catch up, and go past him and slow down. He rolls up and does the point ahead thing, I nod and we both downshift and I start to pull on him, I took it to about the top of 4th, maybe 95mph and let off back to the speed limit, he comes up and gives me a thumbs up and goes on. It looked pretty stock, might have had an exhaust but if it did it sounded pretty good. The guy seemed cool to, he looked like maybe upper 20's
I really enjoy my FA5, can't really hate that K20Z3 sound.
Fuck I'm Jealous. My brother is Trading in his 2007 Chev. Impala for a 2011 Dodge Ram. Just Finalizing the Financing. Although i doesn't have the 5.7L HeMi, I'm Freakin Jealous as can be. its SUPER nice.
