There are Packers fans in Washington?
Not surprising, considering the Seahawks suck.

I dunno I just posted something superbowl and car related. lol
This morning the strangest things happened. I was filling up my car when all of the sudden gas started spilling out of the tank. Never had that happen in all my years of driving. Weird.
That shit happens when air can't get out as fast as the fuel goes in i guess. Had that once, donno.
Seeing as it's been in use for some 50 years, why isn't it widely spread then already?
It's probably gonna go toward no gears as we know them at all with all the new fancy electric shizz.
I hate automatics, they are boring to drive. They take away a large amount of control over the car. Autoboxes up until a few years ago were shit and didn't catch on for a reason, they restricted a cars performance and were often prone to failure. These days a good spec auto-box can shift quicker than a human, having both up and down gears prepared and pre-empting the driver's next action which results in quicker times round the track.
That's all well and good if you're the kind of person who loses sleep if they are .4 of a second slower to 60 than expected but I'm more than happy to stick with manuals, they are much more involved and fun to drive and give you much more satisfaction when driving your car hard.
Gears will be obsolete in the near future when the electric car comes in, shame really.

this is true, a 1995 mustang gt automatic had a full second slower 0-60mph than the standard version.
That's crazy how much of a difference that is between manual and automatic.

Well I can be proud that the lions beat Green Bay during the season.

I like having auto in my DD Subaru, since I can either shift like a manual or let the computer do it. But I like driving my dad '00 F250 diesel with the 6spd because it just feels so awesome controlling 400hp/800lb-ft torque.
It kinda depends on my mood as to which I like. Some days I like manual better, some days I like auto.

I'm not glad that everyone beat the Bengals this season.
Edit: While reading the latest publication of Motor Trend, I came across something interesting... to say the least.

Ew. Get real coilovers.
So I've been planning on buying my mom a Fiat 500 for her 60 year's birthday since forever, however now I might finally have found what version of the 500 I'm going to give her.
Just checking here to see if you guys agree on my choice.

Fiat 500 Abarth from 2009, black.
I've got 7 years left till my final decision, but this is it for now.
Comments, critics?
abarth or nothing
Would you say that it is reasonable to get say a New Beetle that's small and good on gas with an automatic versus something that's more high performance like a GTI with a stick?

uh in 7 years the market is going to be completely different
by then we'll be running on cold fusion reactors in wheel hub motors, one in each of the wheels
Oh right, then we'll be driving flying cars according to BTTF
Btw the Abarth is 3 times the price of the regulare Fiat 500, is it worth it for a 60-year-old woman? Even though I want to give her the best, I doubt she'll need 200hp to drive to bingo.
