So ThatHippyMan and I are trying to figure out what car a pair of taillights belongs to based on a vague description and drawing from myself, plus uncertain details about the car that may or may not actually be true. And we'd like your help.
The drawing:

Basically, on the inner side of the taillight is a medium-sized round light. Extending outward from this light (but not directly connected) are four distinct lines of LED's, giving it an almost "wing" shape.
The "facts":
It's a newer model car. I would hazard a guess that it's newer than the Audi A4 (my only real frame of reference, since it's my dad's car)

It's probably European.
It's probably not a Jag or Audi.

It's a Sports-luxury?

It's "smooth and blobby", as opposed to "sharp".
The one thing we do know is that I'm being extremely vague and need to pay more attention to cool cars I see. :v:

Thank you!
Atleast we didn't get killed off, hopefully people will see the automotive forum and we can get up to 50 or so average users, 100 would be awesome though.
What about custom ratings for this section? I was thinking about a "Ricer" rating and a "Redneck" rating.
[editline]24th February 2011[/editline]
Or both combined to a ricer/redneck rating maybe
Anyone know any other cars which look like 1968 Chevrolet Camaro's or a 1977 mustang?

^ right there :v:
Indian Lake
past Warrensburg
according to googly maps its 42 minutes from warrensburg.
Some guy in an E46 M3 thought he could easily smoke my "old piece of crap"...oh boy, you should've seen the look on his face afterwards. Guess his huge chrome wheels, sound system and NOS sticker didn't make his car as fast as he thought. :neckbeard:
So continuing my discussion from the cars thread ferosso made, I already knew that it wasn't a very good idea to put a turbo on a rotary (1987 mazda rx7) but this car isn't as fast as you think it is...Any new car with an engine bigger than a 4 banger can beat it in a race. How else can i pull more power out of it if not for a fairly small turbo?
13B-REW Swap.

Not too clue'd up on the Rotary engines but the most effective way to make decent power from an NA engine without slapping a turbo on there is up the compression and install some more aggressive cams followed by the obvious breathing mods. I thought the RX7s came as a twin-turbo model?
I thought the RX7s came as a twin-turbo model?
Only the FD generation, his is a FC. There is a single turbo version of the FC though.

It was an option, mine happens to be a base model, not turbo (lucky me)

I'd go down the upgraded cams and higher compression route. Although not sure how higher compression could be achieved as with normal engines it's a case of replacing the pistons so I guess if there are aftermarket rotors available then you could look into that.

NOOOOO
no one do this, it only de-freezes it temporarily, but then after a while the content of the hand sanitizer actually freezes the lock

Rotaries don't have cams.

It's original maroon color is way better.
It's original maroon color is way better.
i like the green more and that's what matters.
it needed to be repainted anyway, whoever painted it before me didn't do it right. it's original color was some baby blue fuck ugly looking color.
