Better than Fords though, my girlfriends Ford Fiesta had a pretty bad case of rust on the boot floor and arches, the car was only 5 years old!
Not sure how much it costs to have rust cut out, rewelded and sprayed, I'm guessing it's not cheap but it's the only way to remove it permanently.
One of the guys from Jocks Drift team is a very talented sheetmetal/body thingy dude. Don't know the english word for it, but he fixes stuff like rust. Everything on the body of the car.
He can help me with this for sure.
