My Jetta decided not to start today, turn the key and it doesn't even try to turn over. Lights/radio and whatnot work fine and tried jump starting but no dice. A push down a slope starts it no problem though. A while back it had the infamous starter grind ([url]http://forums.vwvortex.com/showthread.php?2269482[/url]) but for the past few months it hadn't been making the noise. I'm pretty sure the starter motor is dead, its the original one and the car has 220000km, but before I order a new one is there anything else I should check out?
Well I'm going to hold onto the jeep for a while. Until I find a car I really want to own. So it might even be as long as the jeep lasts. It has 237,000 miles on it.
I'm looking for a new car to replace my 2000 Merc Sable, I was looking at Grand Marquise's Crown Victorias and some trucks, as well as jeeps. I found a jeep on craigslist that seems to be in really good condition, but its 2K below KBB value. They didn't mention miles. Anyone know why this might be so cheap?

For fucks sake Maine DOT/RR company. There is a set of train tracks that I go by twice a day that has had most of the tar ripped up around it, it happened in the last week. This morning my dad was in a rush in his 2000 Ford F250 crew cab/long bed 7.3l Powerstroke Diesel and bottomed out his suspension, and tonight on my way home one of my tires got punctured. I went over them going plenty slow enough and even swerved to miss the bad parts, but still got a punctured tire.
My parents just bought a 2009 Fusion.

Fun night. Went to Sonics where the ricers from all over St. Louis hang out, got called out by a G35 for $15. Raced him from 40mph and had like half a car on him till 140 then ran out of top end and he had a quarter of a car on me right before I shut down. God dammit. Should have raced him from a dig.

I was filling my car up today, and the nozzle sprayed backwards, something was loose with the nozzle hose, but as soon as it happened i shut it off, paid for the .56 of a gallon i bought and just went home to clean my self up.
getting a quick spray of gasoline isn't a good omen.. and i wasn't about to stick around to give the other pumps a try.
I'm now the owner of a Honda Element LX. No pictures yet, but I love it so far.
Although driving scares me, so I've only driven it three times.
