I think I won but he decided it was best to race until 300mph. I said "fuck" because my car started detecting knock so I had to let off for a second which let him get back even with me.

I now come with another question.
When my car was stolen a few years back, they got it repainted but whoever did it did a horribly shitty job. My clearcoat is coming off, I've got air bubbles all over the place, a few of them have even split open revealing the ORANGE PRIMER underneath, so I need to get it repainted.
Now I've been to a few of the local painters and they've all quoted me roughly 4k (USD) on getting it repainted. So how do places like Maaco and Peach do it for like 400?
Also is 4k a decent price for a paint job?

Way too much is what I would say. I don't know though since prices might vary a lot between Sweden and USA. But here in sweden you get a good paint job for $1000~

- Are you painting it in the original color or are you changing it?
- Are you painting only surfaces or interiors and the works?
- Solid or metallic?
- If metallic. Standard clear coat or expensive?
- How much clear coat? Just what is needed or enough polish down a layer if needed?
- What paint? Standard colors or special type chameleon?
- What condition is the car? Dents, deep scratches, cracked bumpers, plastic .....
- How much car there is to paint? Wings, skirts, .....

I got 11" Magnaflow mufflers for my '02 Grand Marquis, they sound awesome. I also had the exhaust come out in front of my wheels, I think it looks great. The car is much more ballsy now, I feel like it picked up a lot after opening it up.
What do you guys think of me getting a 02 impala? Great shape in & out.
Recently sold my 65 galaxie, looking for a modern car. I couldn't find any other car that could match this impala for the price & shape it's in.

Souns good, but why does it look like the exhaust goes back towards the rear, and then turns back towards the front like 120 degrees?
