I got 11" Magnaflow mufflers for my '02 Grand Marquis, they sound awesome. I also had the exhaust come out in front of my wheels, I think it looks great. The car is much more ballsy now, I feel like it picked up a lot after opening it up.
What's the most accurate but cheap way to test your fuel efficiency?
What's the most accurate but cheap way to test your fuel efficiency?
see how many miles you can travel per gallon of fuel used
Souns good, but why does it look like the exhaust goes back towards the rear, and then turns back towards the front like 120 degrees?
It sort of does. The way the floor pan is, he couldn't push the mufflers back any further, so we decided to go with the 11" and that gave just enough room to maneuver the pipe in front of the wheels. Here's some detail shots:

I got a truck from my grandmother on my moms side of the family for my birthday.

The cord going inside is for the air purifier making it smell good inside my truck

Rear view, I'm working on getting of this magnet but it feels like it's glued to the truck. Any tips on how to get it off?

I can't get and really good front view pictures of it because we have the Mazda behind it in the driveway. I'm going to get better pictures of it as soon as I can.
I also got a car from my grandmother from my dads side of the family, but this one is 1000 miles away from me in Chicago and I will have to fly up and bring it down. I won't have pictures of this one for a while. I'm probably going to keep the car and sell the truck because a car to me is more useful than a truck.

You are a winner. I love King Cabs :buddy:
see how many miles you can travel per gallon of fuel used
Did that.
I'm calculating 8 MPG.
Now I know sports cars aren't the paragon of efficiency, but come the fuck on, something is not right here.
What car are you driving
1986 Monte Carlo, but the engine is brand new (remanufactured actually, I think), we just put it in last year.

I've had enough of your disingenuous assertions.
Anyone know anything about SUV's?
Dad is thinking of buying: Nissan Murano, BMW X3 (twin tarbo ofc) or Audi Q5
all AWD
what do bros? explain reasons why plz
also, if you are really bored, try to find a sedan (think a6 or 5 series size) for under 50 grand CAD that would be pretty good (remember, I is in Canadia)
thx brahs
50,000 CAD?
Import a Skyline sedan.
I don't really have any extensive knowledge about SUVs but my completely subjective opinion would be the X3.

Those arent SUV's, they are fat cars.
get an xterra or something with 4 wheel drive that you will never use :v:
Yeah it looks like your dad is more into looks and branding rather than performance and durability. Besides why would you want an SUV?

Status, to make him feel big.
My mom keeps asking me about "That red truck in pomona"
I have no idea what truck shes talking about yet she insists that ive seen it and asked about it :what:
X3!
Definitley would steer clear of the X3, kind of the 'jack of all trades' vehicle which is shit at them all. I'd say see if you can pick up a Range Rover Sport:

A lot better looking and unlike the others, can actually go off road. Although nowhere near as good as a proper Range Rover can.
I don't think he's looking for an offroader, just a large car
and the X3 is fast as hell
srt8 cherokee?
Mmmm, Hemi.
If you want speed then go for a Porsche Cayenne.
Get a lotus carlton and shut up
I don't think he's looking for an offroader, just a large car

You mean X5. X5 is the fast one.

Pretty sure that's the X5, not the X3.
Do you guys know what happens if I completed drivers ed class, didn't do any instructional driving, but did drive with my parent for over two years? I'm going to finally go and get my license, I've been lazy about it (REALLY LAZY) and so I thought it would be a good time to drive by myself.
lol@ importing a skyline, yeah my dad defs wants that
and no it's not about status
he wants a nice fast car, but wants it to be roomy as fuck, and have room for the dog in the back with AWD and shit idk
and X3 is fast as fuck too, 0-60 in like 5.5
^fast as fuck cuzz
