Most coilovers should allow you to ride at the stock height. Also nice set of rims and ride quality is irrelevant if you don't buy shitty coilovers. If I set the damper adjustment to '1' then my car will ride close to stock. Even at '22' the ride is not bad at all.
Except I accidently bought tyres that are way too big.
Except I accidently bought tyres that are way too big.
If they fit with your stock suspension they will fit with coilovers.
That looks retarded. I'll guarantee that car is an automatic too.
why does the matter
my jeep is automatic but I haven't seen one single 4.0 liter manual cherokee yet :v:

Good luck getting your dick sucked with your stupid gear shift blockinabitch
I love having a manual, and actually, I used to race dirt track... in an automatic. >_< Then again it wasn't my car, it was my dad's. He used to have a team that raced out there and I drove for him for a while until I realised that racing in circles is just a bunch of bullshit. If you weren't winning you were in the way, if you were winning you were cheating, and if you were close to winning "I'm gunna PUT 'EM IN TH' WALL!" Sigh, I'm kinda glad I don't do that anymore. I really don't think changing gears is a chroe, I love it. Driving an automatic is boring to me now, when I'm just sitting there using one hand and one foot I feel like I'm wasting my time. I've been spoiled by the manual transmission and I'm not afraid to admit that. Really though, the newer automatics aren't as sloppy as before, I know what you're talking about. They pull much better and don't shit like a sack of bricks in a washing machine anymore. It's just the fact that they are about as boring as a lecture and too easy to drive. And manual cars may be old, but they work. And I've always agreed with that old saying, "If it isn't broken, don't fix it." [editline]30th March 2011[/editline] Ask your mother.
shutup all you fags and drive a gti first [editline]30th March 2011[/editline] im serious it will change your mind
Where can I find a manual for my 1992 Park Avenue for preferably free?
lol automatic haters. Come back and argue when you can shift in 8 milliseconds.
can you do nasty clutch dumps?
clutch kick gti for sick drifts
can you do nasty clutch dumps?
I can't, my mechatronics unit can.
I drove a R32 with the fancy schmancy DSG thing. But it was only about 30 feet. Not hating on autos, but there's nothing special about a Camaro automatic gearbox.
Anyone know where I can get some Vacuum line Diagrams? I need to look into the Vacuum lines on my car because the guy I got it from was an Idiot and caught the engine on fire by pouring oil in while the engine was still hot without a funnel, and burned up all the lines. He said he reconnected them but didn't hook them up in any order or anything. So I'm probably gonna have to replace them all. 1989 2.5L Dodge Dynasty [editline]29th March 2011[/editline] The only one I've found won't load. :frown: [editline]29th March 2011[/editline] Fuck, I found them for my engine, but only up to '88. They changed the engine a bunch in '89. Welp hope it will work anyways.
The big change in '89 was the common block, when they used the same block for 2.2 and 2.5 and just changed B/S ratios for displacement. I'm pretty sure your vacuum diagram will be mostly accurate, you should be safe.
AutoX this sunday, watch out Hell Strike
AutoX this sunday, watch out Hell Strike
lol you'll beat me, i'm shitty with cars.
And manual cars may be old, but they work. And I've always agreed with that old saying, "If it isn't broken, don't fix it."
development doesn't work like that, if it did, we would probably still be using donkeys and horses to pull wooden carts with uneven wheels
development doesn't work like that, if it did, we would probably still be using donkeys and horses to pull wooden carts with uneven wheels
Autoboxes have only become good in the last few years, they can shift quicker and with better efficiency than any driver. The only trouble is, all these great autoboxes are on cars out of most people's price range. Your autobox on a car say, from 5-7 years ago is still utterly hopeless. In Spain we rented a 2005 Audi A3 SE, supposed to have a 'sporty' gearbox. In sport mode it would hold the gears to near the rev limiter on the upshifts but trying to shift down for a corner would result in a delay in the change and a huge jolt in the car as it shifts down and half of the time the car would be 'manually' shifted down to 2nd for a corner but halfway through the corner decided it wanted 3rd or even 4th so there was no power to pull away with. Completley useless!
i drove a 1994 mercury villager with auto auto sucks manual 4 lyfe etc
So today my rear left wheel (after a while of squeeking that i just decided to ignore seeing as it's a Volvo) started making some nice metallic scratchy sound when i go slow, getting worse when i use the brakes. Could this actually be the brake at fault and not the bearing?
Probably. Take your wheel off and find out.
Probably. Let's hope it's not, i'm not made out of money.
