Also that. But when I have enough money for a truck, It'll probably just be a 4 cylinder. :\
v8 diesel [editline]3rd April 2011[/editline] feels good maaaaannnnn
My first car, a 1995 Jeep Cherokee. It's a 4 liter V6 with two wheel drive. There were a few things wrong with it, mostly cosmetics like a botched tenting job on the door windows and a massively torn headliner. When shifting into reverse and back into drive (it's an automatic, obviously) there's a slight "clunk" that we're going to have looked at soon, and its tachometer seems to not work under 5 mph. It starts and runs smoothly and I'm absolutely in love with it. That's me btw, leaning forward wondering why I couldn't start the car (had the wrong key, lol.)
Sweet I had a 95 Cherokee sport in that color. Same wheels and lower body trim. Did they make a V6? I thought the 6 cylinders were all straight 6s. [editline]2nd April 2011[/editline]
[img_thumb]http://i.imgur.com/Hqt5q.jpg[/img_thumb] Bad ass.
We took a car in on trade at work with the supercharged 3.8. Great engine, the rest of the car sucked though.
v8 diesel [editline]3rd April 2011[/editline] feels good maaaaannnnn
If I can find one. :saddowns: I've been looking at the M1008 CUCV's though. You can get a pretty nice one with under 70k original miles for about $2k. They even come with built in M16 mounts behind the seats! :v:
If I can find one. :saddowns:
they are pretty easy to come by here in perth. probably cause its like every single 4x4 engine :v:
April 1st was my 17th birthday. I threw a party and received $250, and everything was going as I expected it would until my parents went over to the next town over to do some errands, including dropping my bro's rented textbooks off at the post office and grabbing something to eat, and generally wasting time so they wouldn't be at the house stuck in their room while me and the guys played video games in the main room. They apparently were driving on the main road of that city (which is covered in car lots) when they spotted a deal and pulled over. We've been talking about getting one for a while now and this one was too cheap to pass up, so (after a quick test drive and a good look-over) they bought it right there on the spot and my dad drove it home as a surprise gift for my birthday. Older jeeps that aren't the sport or 4x4 version are kinda hard to find.
My sister just got a brand new Porsche and I just had a ride in it. Just thought I'd come here to brag. :v:
[img_thumb]http://de.academic.ru/pictures/dewiki/73/Iveco_Daily_front_20080625.jpg[/img_thumb] Got to drive one of these badass motherfuckers for this weekend. Fucking amazing. (Not my picture but it's pretty much the exact same thing)
17 year old wrapped his car around a powerline pole last night up the street from me. Flipped the radio on and went out at 2 in the morning to check out the scene. Started as a police chase at 65+. I checked out all of their "evidence" markers and apparently he bumped the curb, corrected, and flipped it back onto the curb and slid sideways all the way into the pole. http://www.wlwt.com/news/27413425/detail.html Why, just why.

I'd kill myself if I had to drive a Stratus too.
Well since the r33 gtst deal fell apart, im thinking about saving up $9,000 to $10,000 and buying a R32 GT-R from ontario and having it as a track car, project car, maybe do some illegal midnight runs lol

But yeah it is a straight six and a Sport. I've been finding a few things wrong with it that will have to be fixed. The previous owner used water instead of antifreeze and we'll have to get the radiator flushed out because of the rust, and we'll also be looking for a replacement reservoir. The thing was also squeaking today, and it wasn't doing that two days ago, I think it's coming from the belts, although I can tell they're new. On the bright side, I fixed a few things yesterday like the right front blinker, the missing "Jeep" cap from the rear right wheel, added a steering wheel cover, and I vacuumed under the seats. Still no crippling problems. Also, I found out today that my parents paid $2300 for it before the assort fees.

I've got a couple of plans on my Cherokee :buddy: This is what it looks like now: [img_thumb]http://i.imgur.com/mScAX.jpg[/img_thumb] It will have this color scheme: [img_thumb]http://a6.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc1/5376_220881810345_220876610345_7307169_5322759_n.jpg[/img_thumb] and have this in the rear window: [img_thumb]http://i.imgur.com/5PCDj.png[/img_thumb] Possibly "ZORV" on the sides instead of "Police" or leave it blank But first obviously I'm gonna fix all that's broken on it then I can focus on the looks :v: Thoughts?
Oh man, Lemon, I once argued with a guy on a youtube video about his dream car. He said it was an "88 Skyline R32 GT-R". I told him that didn't exist and he raged.
I once said something on a youtube video about a 2001 Supra and some kid raged on me until I showed him Toyota Japan's official website listing the Toyota Supra as '93 - '02
Youtube comments. Just lol, if only we could rate boxes on Youtube....
I once said something on a youtube video about a 2001 Supra and some kid raged on me until I showed him Toyota Japan's official website listing the Toyota Supra as '93 - '02
Oh man. lol. If I could count the number of times I saw someone say something completely stupid about cars on youtube.... Well, I still would have lost count.
This kid must have been a terrible driver.
The bend in the road is sorta sudden, but yea that's what I thought as well. My bet is that he wasn't paying attention or was in the curb lane like a dumbass.

I'm thinking of buying a 3door mk1 RAV4 and swapping the engine (3S-FE) with a 3S-GTE, supposedly I can keep the default gearbox and all and it'll be a rad car after the swap. Ravs with 3sgtes: Why RAV4? I fucking love them, my family already owns 2 and they're awesome cars.
zombie shit is so fucking overplayed dont do it
I've never seen anything like it before Oh and the text on the back will be free since my dad works with making stuff like that :v: So I see no reason to not put it on

I finally fixed my left headlight bezel so no more duct tape (thank god) and I scrubbed off the left over rubber cement and duct tape marks too. My car looks half decent now. I need to replace some bushings on the valve cover and flush my radiator system but at least my engine is in good shape. I love older cars. So simple.

Two part question: I love Trans Am's and would like to get a 1977 one. The Smokey and the Bandit one pretty much. But these cars, while having around 330lbs of torque, only had around 200 hp, which is like the same as my Cherokee. How would I go about increasing the horsepower to really unlock the potential of that massive 6.6 V8? The other is, what muscle cars weren't really affected by the 1973 oil crisis? Obviously cars that were prior to it but are there ones after that the companies just didn't care and continued making the same? In that same sense, lets say a 1970 Olds 442 would out perform a 77 Trans Am?
Dragster Stang? in my orange? http://www.autoblog.com/2011/04/04/ford-delivers-2012-mustang-cobra-jet-racers-lays-claim-to-quick/
