Well no dont start like that please! I like my car and i want to do somethin good for it
You'd be better off sticking a decent panel filter in there, honestly. http://www.carperformanceuk.co.uk/index.php?p=product&id=78572 All those short ram kits do is suck up hot air from your engine bay. Fiat spent time and money developing the airbox to work with the engine to reduce heatsoak and increase performance. Better than a cheap ass whale cock off ebay. It doesn't even come with a cold air feed pipe! Save your cash. Put a good panel filter in the airbox, remove the resonator and you'll maybe free up 3-5 horses at best but it's more than you'd see from that crappy kit, in fact, you might even LOSE power with that. All it will do it make a sound and tart up your engine bay a bit.
My brother bought a cheap Cold Air for his Integra off Ebay a few weeks ago, and it sucks air from the Wheel well? Made his clutch slip a bit at first when he put it in. His car needs some work now, but he's got a bunch of shit he has to take care of first. :\ And on that B17a1, he looked the ad back up after he got off work and it had been deleted. :frown: [editline]14th April 2011[/editline] I need new exhaust for my Dynasty, the POS exhaust keeps popping off the Cat.
Yeah Kilometers. Looking forward to the next 250k
Our Accord had 300k Miles on it when my mom totaled it. :saddowns: It was still going strong before that.
Would you not fancy a 4th gen? Same H22 engine as the 5th, around 200bhp and pretty cheap to buy with plenty of toys including the LCD dash: [img_thumb]http://getcandy.net/wp-content/uploads/2008/12/prelude_interior-1.jpg[/img_thumb] [img_thumb]http://www.preludeonline.co.uk/img/wwrs.JPG[/img_thumb]
And the not pretty front end. Look at that thing, it looks like a Talon went way too fast. And then got wedged under something. Yuck. [editline]14th April 2011[/editline]
I didn't buy it yet, I was only considering. But Danish car prices can't really compare to car prices in USA. To have something to compare with: My Civic EK3 was $4300, and the guy wants $1100 for the Prelude.
That's about the same as US prices, really. Good price on the Prelude if it runs alright. omagash guise should i get like 26 inch rims on the pontiac and paint it lime green but seriously its a darkish green color should i paint the steelies when i get it?
Nah, don't paint those. Painted steelies only look good black or polished to metal. Tornado warning here, woohoo! I'm sitting here watching my car get pissed on in the window. It makes the flat black look glossy, makes me want to paint it glossy black after I get it all primered. Hmm. [editline]14th April 2011[/editline] Fuck, hail.
Just saw my cousin go down the street in the Z28. That shiny, loud beast gives me a chub every time I see it :)
I need a new car. My car has something wrong with the engine, and the exhaust is shit, but it really isn't worth putting anymore money into it. I got it for free, it's valued at like $300, and I've nearly put that much into it just cleaning it up a bit, replacing tail lights and headlights, distributor cap and rotor, wires, spark plugs, wipers, oil, oil filter. I've had to re clamp the exhaust to the Cat like 4 times now, and there's a huge hole in the floor underneath the seat. I was driving it the other day and I was sitting at a stop light and it started to kinda jolt, like it was misfiring or something. Then when the light turned green I hit the gas and it would still kinda jolt every couple seconds, it's slow either way, so I don't know if it was any slower. It wasn't backfiring or anything it would just kinda stop for just a second. I don't know a whole lot about it, the Odometer stopped at 164,274 miles, but I don't know how many years ago that was, and I'm pretty damn sure that was a long time ago. Time to start saving some cash I guess. :sigh: My car looks like this, but rusty all around the bottom edge of the car, and I don't have those rim caps on. 2.5L 4 cylinder [editline]14th April 2011[/editline] Better than nothing I guess.
So AA, I tore my EK coupe apart today. D16Y8 VTEC etc I thought the waterpump was out of it, but the fluid leak turns out to be a huge crack in the block. 3 options 1. Sell whole car as is, $600lol 2. Part out for god knows how much 3. Try to get another motor to drop in it You decide for me, I'm too pissed to make up my own mind =/
Buy beater EF, swap head, part out EK and then sell shell. Can't beat a mini-me.
Holy shit gas prices today Going up to ~$4, that is expensive as fuck.
I think I'll probably buy a beater Honda and just work on the engine. Sounds kinda fun.

I think it looks great :buddy: Not round and ugly like most new cars
It's sooooooo slow, and runs like shit.
Classics aren't racers
People drag race them. There are Turbo I-IV versions of the engine in my car.:v: They even made a version of my engine with a head made by Lotus that had like 16 valves(:O) or some shit. This is a video of a 2.2L which is pretty much the same as my engine except Chrysler increased the stroke to make it a 2.5L. And video of it on the Dyno, but no numbers to go with it. :raise: But allegedly it's putting out ~300WHP Anyways it's not running right, and it's really not worth it to fix it. I don't have the time, money, or space to fix it. [editline]14th April 2011[/editline] I do agree, it's not bad looking for the time it's from.
Holy shit gas prices today Going up to ~$4, that is expensive as fuck.
Lol, let's not start the whole UK vs US petrol prices again. You have it cheap for now, make the most of it. Leave it at that.
$1.35 a litre here :v: that's for petrol though. $1.49.4 a litre for diesel.
$1.35 a litre here :v: that's for petrol though. $1.49.4 a litre for diesel.
Tell me your secrets? it was $1.51 for E10 last time i was at the petrol station but the car i was in hates ethanol and i ended up getting Premium at like 1.63 or something.
About $2.77 a liter in Norway for normal petrol :v: I want to live in USA.. so cheap
i live in australia, we think our fuel is expensive but it is pretty cheap compared to european countries..

Fuckedy fuck, still no radiator Y U SO SLOW
Strategically spilled some oil under a colleague's BMW M3 and dropped a few screws around his engine bay area. Look on his face is priceless! Debating when to tell him it was me or not.

Thinking of buying a Nissan Primera, then colouring it black with a shine of green. Will take me a year to save up. Yeah, no? Edit: Oh yeah, also thinking of smacking the head of a friend of mine onto the side, in a white/grey colour scheme.
