bmw would be extremely hard to keep running due to most repairs requiring specialty technicians, i would probably go s13 with sr20/rb25 or s14 with 1jz/2jz since you have an interest in supras
I drove on some backwoods-ass road the other day. I think I saw some axe murderer in a rotting house in a forest. But yeah, it sucks when you're on a curvy road that is around six feet wide and some pickup with a trailer has the come the other way.

If anything, the back roads were the most fun, highways are so monotonous.
If anything, the back roads were the most fun, highways are so monotonous.
Haha. When I tell people I hate highways, they always think it's because I'm scared or some shit. It's not because of that, but because it's so damn boring. I avoid highway driving when at all possible.
Of course if I have to drive on the highway to save some gas I'll certainly do that.
If anything, the back roads were the most fun, highways are so monotonous.
It's not really fun when you're limited to 20 mph because of all the curves and the road is in such poor condition it feels like wooden roller-coaster.

That's what makes it fun.
That's what makes it fun.
That's just boring.
I'd rather drive 90 at night like I usually do on the highway, but I run the risk of hitting deer, etc..
Highways are nice if you have a great engine and a suspension system made out of lamp-posts. Back roads are nice if you have a great suspension system and the engine out of a blender.

I also didn't like the cliffs going directly into a watery forest thing.

Yeah...

I am deathly afraid of country toads that drop off almost immediately after the road stops, especially because most of them have no shoulder, so if you go off, you're tumbling... Almost always straight into trees and other shit that can seriously hurt. :ohdear:
I'm so glad that Oklahoma is pretty flat, our back roads just have trees in most directions if you go off.
And steel poles. Ask Japfeiffer about that one :| I think he told that story in another topic... I remember I posted a picture of his car afterwards. It was a while back though.
In Washington, you either go off a cliff into trees, or into one of the many water Reservoirs...after rolling down a cliff.
In Missouri you just go through some sort of crop field. Beans in my case.

Talk about bean dip.
Man I wish I could sell my Lude over in the states. For what the car is worth I'll hardly get anything over in the UK. It costs about £750 to freight it over. Over here I'll be lucky to get £2,500 for it. Over there it would fetch $7,000+ with the mileage on it and the condition it's in. I could let the person at the other end worry about importing it legally.
Doubt I'd ever find anyone to go for it though.
Not necessarily; just Google around for some US Prelude clubs.
When I lived in Florida, it seemed everyone that had a prelude was Guyanese and put lightning bolts on the side.

Could be a possibility but surely importing a car is a pain in the arse and could run up a bill which would put people off...

If you find an enthusiast they could be cumming bukkets over the car.
Kind of random, but I had to post this.
This is my friend Stephen hosing down his car.

I took the picture with his camera. I thought it looked pretty awesome.

Snow is gone enough now to go just about everywhere without getting stuck.
Last week I went to a sand pit and showed a guy in a lifted jeep and a guy in a nissan pickup how it's done.
Didn't get any pics, but I guess one kid that was there got it on video and showed it to a bunch of people at school.

If you have a dog, how would you feel if you woke up in the morning and it was on the road opened up from a car slamming into it? It's organs everywhere and yet it was somehow alive but in loads of pain, whimpering, dog crying. You'd feel like shit and want to kill whoever did that. Now imagine a cat owner seeing the same thing. Now I hate dogs, especially small useless ones that can't defend you. But if I ever hit one, I'd stop and check that it's fine and if it isn't I'd bring it to somewhere that can help it or put it out of it's misery. I have around 700 set away for my cat in case something happens to her, but I'd use it for that animal since my cat isn't likely to get hurt.
yeah but i dont like cats so i mean you cant sway me by saying that. i know id be pissed but i dont like cats, thats that lets get back to cars pleze
Ford when are you gonna get dem mudflaps
Also how loose are your bumpers my front is sagging :c
Sagging bumpers, don't even get me started with my old CRX.
It was gap city in the back and flop town up front.

No idea when I am getting mudflaps, completely forgot about them lol.
My front bumper isn't sagging at all. I rammed it into some sand when I was at the pit (the openings are full of mud/sand and my license plate is bent in) and it is still on there solid. The rear bumper, however, is held on by some zipties because the goof in the tC that rearended me a while back crushed my bumper support.
I think it'd be fun to have a Lada but I live in the US.

Awesome :v:
Agreed, except I would like this Lada instead

A shiny blue one would be cool, I've seen one IRL :v:
