Just get a job and stop sponging off the state. You've said you'll almost definatly get this job, so why bother applying for JSA?
That's funny, because I haven't had any money off the state, like I stated.
About EMA, my family is on less than £10k per year, but the governent said we aren't entitled to any, my parents dont give me anything because they can't afford to (totally fair enough, i'd rather have a roof over my head than a few DVD's and no home). It pisses me off big style though.

He's going to be paying taxes through the eyes, I think a few months of getting money off the goverment is fair trade.
I may be out of college/school but i'm not stupid, I know what i'm talking about and this is something different, the people my mum knows aren't in college/school either and receive this money.
If you're out of college, get on an apprentership. Or get a job. It's not like the typical 17 or so year old has a mortgage to pay, along with bills and your parent(s) cover the basic's like food. Job seekers helps those who are older to help them pay for food, bills etc.

How come you're not getting EMA? My family earn less then £10K but I get it. Not consistanly though, as no one can take a register at my 6th form.
Break your spine so you get DLA (Disability Living Allowance) Its like £300 a month

Government pulled the "If your dad hadn't been made redundant and got all depressed and screwed up, you guise would still be over the limit, lol" on us. So, we're still living on shit-all, and the government refuse to give me EMA because apparantly we're rolling in it 10 months after my dad got made redunant (the company he worked for went under).

So basically, this time last year, your Dad was earning over £30,000 and since then he has been made redundant. Am I right?
it's fucking annoying right; im just over the amount your family needs to earn to not qualify for EMA so i dont get it
I got JSA when i was 16 and got the full 45.60 or whatever it was a week
you can also try for income support.

It's only because i've been like it for a year looking for a job and nothing, but i'm applying for a Royal Navy Apprenticeship so hopefully.

I did that when I was 15, they don't let you do it past 16 in most shops, a decent one anyway
I did a paper round at 12. Then got another at 14. Then got made redundant for the first one (Got redundancy pay of £10!) and got sacked just under a year ago with the second one. :P
