This is a topic I feel very strongly about.
[SP]WADUP WADUP TOPOTHEMORNINTOYA TOPOTHEMORNINTOYA[/SP]
I remember there was a very similar bit in maybe a Pewdiepie or Dunkey video a few months back, but I can't find it. All I remember is once they started overlaying a bunch of intros all at once, Jacksepticeye's voice managed to overpower every other intro.
To be clear, I'm not saying he copied it, I just want to know if anyone else knows what video I'm thinking of.

Really blatant advertising of his channel.

But...PewDiePie was the one that Fiverr'd Jesus to make that video as a joke?

I get the joke now, but EmilyVasquez meant to refer to jacksepticeye, not jackspedicey.
Just clarifying for their sake so they doesn't actually think Jack made that video.

My main beef with Jackspedicey is that he's so fucking loud and obnoxious. Which is the same problem I have with Markiplier, and it's the same problem I had with Fred so many years ago. Jack in particular starts every video with a loud "*wAHP* TOP OF THE MORNING TO YA LADDIES". His voice sort of transcends volume and is unpleasant at any audio level, because it's such a sharp sound. I can still hear him from a mile away at low volumes. Yes, you could just ignore him, but not if you have to be around his demographic, aka kids.
For most adults this is just going to be annoying as fuck. Kids, however, love it, because it's loud and energetic and entertaining. However beyond just the volume being unpleasant for adults, it's also plain to see for an adult that the energy is fake. It's conjured, and some guys like pewdiepie have admitted as such.
Kids and to a lesser extent teens don't read emotion that good because their brains literally can't perceive complexities like that so they can't tell it's fake energy. They also question things a little less. I got in the argument with my younger sibling the other day who genuinely believed that people were shipping themselves in boxes and that that wouldn't be a very dangerous and stupid idea. Or that prank videos were faked. The idea that what was being presented was an illusion was like an attack on their faith.
THAT SAID most people also don't hate Markiplier and his Funky Bunch as people. Those few times when Mark's not being a fuckin' spaz and talking to me like a real person I enjoy watching him. It's just his regular content is annoying, and not for my age group anyway.

At least Markiplier is only loud when it calls for it (being excited/scared). He's chill most of the time aside from some childish jokes. Jack is +110% outdoor voice the whole time.
so if i literally yell at people to give me likes, i will become a successfull youtuber?
begging for likes before the video properly starts does not deserve them
how long until there's a channel that does nothing but ask for those thumbs ups
This also applies to Twitch streamers. I had to unfollow this one guy because he would yell at the top of his lungs every time someone subscribed. It was fucking annoying.
I hate those introductions in general, not just the loud ones. They often appear annoying and cringy to me.
Just play a three second long intro (like Ashens) and start talking about the topic.
i still think h3h3 is probably the best intro for any youtuber, that is longer than 4/5 seconds
"Serious small intro and get to the topic". I remember the times when it was not interesting to everyone, and good videos got small views. Now when these dumbass group of three appears, everyone keep to stretch standarts to what they do.

The only time I watched jackspedicey longer than 1 second into the intro was when I was looking for VR games to play. Like, I specifically wanted videos with commentary to get insight on what the game is actually like and just went by most viewed. I was thinking it'd be horrible but jackspedicey was actually tolerable for the most part past that intro and he provided some valuable and informative insight into the games he was playing. Guess my point is even though they're all mostly shitheads they do have moments of peace when they drop the facade but it's usually short lived and doesn't show up again for another 200 or 300 videos.
It's really bizarre to me that in this day and age I am subscribed to Pewdiepie while all of the people who jumped on the train he started have been riding it for longer than 7 years and are still trying to make it work. Pewdiepie abandoned ship and decided to be this weird self aware filthyfrank/internet comment etiquette/h3h3/idubbbz hybrid and it actually works.
Reminds me of the spongebob band geeks episode. "People talk loud when they want to act smart right?" "CORRECT"
No one annoys me more than that Joey food review guy. His whole personality is so obnoxious.
reminds me of this

holds cups with his pinky out, true upperclassmen right here
I think the worst offender are video game reviewers who amp the volume, tint the screen red, and shake the video every 30 seconds.

Or people like this guy

That is so overproduced, trying so hard to make literally every second out to be wacky & intense. The constant zoom-ins are pointless, and the whole thing is hysterical in a bad way when nothing stands out in the noise.
