The formula is SSJ=50xbase SSJ2=2xSSJ or 100xBase and SSJ3=4xSSJ2 so 400xBase SSJG and SSJB don't have actual multipliers but since they are God Ki they outclass anything before them by a large margin. estimating (for my own head canon) Lowball, SSJB =Basex5000/SSJx100/SSJ2x50/SSJ3x12.5 Highball SSJB =Basex15000/SSJx300/SSJ2x150/SSJ3x37.5 comparing how Beerus took down a SSJ3 Goku in 2 light hits. Here is Universe 7 Roster. Make as much fun of it as you want
Who the fuck put Roshi and Tien there.
Who the fuck put Roshi and Tien there.
Tien is arguably stronger than Krillin. as for Roshi...No comment. If you go back to Cell saga, Tien was able to pin down Semi Perfect Cell with his Kikoho. He didn't really damage Cell but he kept him occupied. Semi P. Cell is stronger than final form Freeza So Tien could have essentially taken Freeza at that point, plus he never stopped training, where Krillin stopped training after the Cell saga to be a Dad and a Police Officer. Krillin has never shown a feat like that,
Tien is arguably stronger than Krillin. as for Roshi...No comment.
Krillin atleast has an attack that can one hit kill anyone without insane durability/regeneration and actively participated for way longer than Tien. Tien can... blind people and run before they kill him anyways.

Tien has trained more and has better technique.
Who the fuck put Roshi and Tien there.
I'm more impressed that they dug up 17. I think in that regard he's the strongest human.
Fuuuuuck yes, I've been wanting Android 17 to return for ages

My mans 17 is back, give me super 17 or bust.
Krillin is training again, the latest episode and the next episode has him doing it, because 18 called him a weakling, and his daughter said she wanted a strong daddy.
My mans 17 is back, give me super 17 or bust.
He even has his Park Ranger band.
Didn't Cell no-sell that one though? Krillin directly hit him and it didn't do anything. Heh. No-Cell. Hehehe.
That was anime filler, in the manga Krillin hits Cell twice and then Cell goes straight to breaking his neck [t]http://i.imgur.com/iZxYbKn.jpg[/t][t]http://i.imgur.com/AXirgx8.jpg[/t] I don't think Krillin has ever canonically used it on someone and it's had no effect whatsoever. I forget if its been used much in Super though.
Bring back Launch tbh.
I don't think Krillin has ever canonically used it on someone and it's had no effect whatsoever. I forget if its been used much in Super though.
I honestly don't remember Krillin using any Ki attacks at all in Super. Maybe during the Resurrection 'F' arc.
Bring back Launch tbh.
the original super saiyan
I honestly don't remember Krillin using any Ki attacks at all in Super. Maybe during the Resurrection 'F' arc.
He used it in RoF to cut down a cliff rather than cut through enemies :v
Everyone here is freaking out over Brolina and here's me curious about the fucking Clown God of Destruction. What dystopian universe does he come from?
I think it might have been because I was rather tired of the Future Trunks world. Hell the actual dystopian feeling it gave me might even be part of the reason I disliked it. Also Trunk's shit where he got angry and suddenly got all that power was rather lame. If SSJB Goku and Vegeta can't handle him why on earth would an angry Trunks be able to?
Your post stinks of 'power level'. There's a very good reason all that shit went out the door, and that same reason is why Super is the most popular Dragon Ball product in decades.
The formula
Toriyama said there is no formula anymore, there is story and power level is decided by plot and character, not the internets.

It's kind of the entire point of forms. If they could just make it so Angry-SSJ2 is equivalent to the blue shit, why introduce those forms at all?
Which is funny, since Cell uses two super-charged versions to attack SSj2 Gohan and Gohan isn't phased in the slightest.
Gohan caught/stopped those ones, though, they didn't connect (and that was filler too, originally Cell immediately uses the kamehameha after he powers up and gets his ass beat) At lot of the weird shit like this is just stuff they came up with to fill in time for the anime. It's excusable though, because the final battle with Cell that they came up with is a hell of a lot more satisfying than what it originally was.
I'm really exited for this next arc, it will be the best one yet.
Your post stinks of 'power level'. Then they try and fail or win as story dictates. Considering how Rose roflstomped people with impunity for a great deal of the arc regardless of their hair color or size, I'd say it's simply a signature thing along with everything else now rather than strict metric you can be using for OC dick waving contests anymore. The entire thrust of this arc is literally 'what your power level is, it's completely fucking meaningless cause you're fighting a clown that can destroy galaxies with his finger'. Less 'he used the thing at x1000000000' and more 'better figure some clever shit out quick'.

Less 'he used the thing at x1000000000' and more 'better figure some clever shit out quick'.
Oh yeah I'm not saying the removal of power levels to stop people from knowing the outcome is a bad thing, it's actually a lot more interesting than the Power Level wars you described. The thing is just that, in-universe there's such a huge discrepancy between these two forms that it feels like a huge asspull just to make Trunks relevant again without resorting to another asspull in order to get him up to speed. Basically, there was no way to make Trunks relevant again without it feeling like him being some mary-sue asspull machine so they just kind of had to roll with it. I guess it's more of a core issue with how DBZ (and, in extension, DBS) have pretty much fucked it up for themselves by establishing a clear way of showing power of a character, while at the same time making that power completely meaningless. I can't count the amount of times a character has "surpassed the limits and has become the strongest being in the universe for real now guys!", so everything power related has completely lost it's meaning. It's come so far that I'm almost inclined to say that they should just boost every single character to SSJB levels of stronk, just so they can finally get rid of power differences feeling like asspulls or filler. At least then you'd be able to focus more on the clever shit you're describing without it feeling out of place.
I can't count the amount of times a character has "surpassed the limits and has become the strongest being in the universe for real now guys!",
Welcome to any shounen anime. Hunter X Hunter, One Piece, Naruto, Bleach, Dragon Ball, to a lesser extent Attack on Titan, the list is endless and they all follow that exact same formula and we all fall for it every time. It's not going away any time soon.
I haven't been keeping up with the series, but with it now being dubbed, I have no excuse now.
So. Here's something i've not quite understood, since they brought back 17 and 18 for Super. Would they still go rogue and kill everyone in the end? Isn't that how the future is supposed to go?
Everyone here is freaking out over Brolina and here's me curious about the fucking Clown God of Destruction. What dystopian universe does he come from?
Space Station 13, where else?
IIRC, whenever a universe losses a match they're destroyed right? That is pretty morbid, how much you want to bet that Goku and co. will find a way to convince Zeno not to do it.
I think the winner will be offered a wish or something. I can see Goku just wishing for the other universes to be brought back again. Zeno has no qualms about erasing universes. Recent Super Spoilers[sp] Future Zeno erased Future Trunks entire timeline[/sp]
So. Here's something i've not quite understood, since they brought back 17 and 18 for Super. Would they still go rogue and kill everyone in the end? Isn't that how the future is supposed to go?
to be fair, they didn't just 'bring them back for Super" No. 18 was a good character throughout the Buu saga, and 17 just kinda, existed. No, 18 became 'domesticated' because of 16 and eventually falling in love with Krillin. 17 was also tamed by 16 and just got bored and became a park ranger after he was brought back at the end of the Cell saga, he isn't seen until the end of the Buu Saga when the wish the earth back after Buu destroyed it, it shows 17 went and became a park ranger like he always dreamed. I wonder when they will show who is above Zeno, whether it be just Toriyama or someone else. There has to be someone above him, because Zeno is a victim to time, if he was truly the God above all there would only be 1 Zeno no matter how many timelines are created, but since each new timeline creates a new Zeno, there has to be a God above time, where there is only the one of them in all universes and timelines.
I dont know if i can get into Super. The power levels went way off the fucking charts, i mean i thought regular DBZ got nuts about it but jesus.
I dont know if i can get into Super. The power levels went way off the fucking charts, i mean i thought regular DBZ got nuts about it but jesus.
They don't show it too much, like at this point even Krillin is technically able to destroy the solar system if he chose to. but they never show their true feats on objects. like honestly Goku and Vegeta could wipe out galaxys without breaking a sweat at this point. That's why they are fighting Gods. Supers writting is really good though, the animation is shotty at points but if you like a the silly jokes of Dragon ball coupled with the intense fight scenes of Z you will like Super.
