You can't run out and get new strings? (Or is that not the problem?)
I can't just run out and get new strings, I've no means to get there, and the only local store is closed on Sundays.
Yeah. What the fuck? Ride The Lightning is amazing. One of the best from Metallica, along with Master of Puppets, ...And Justice for All, and Black. I love every Metallica album though so who am I to judge.
Hmmm... I like and justice for all, and I like "Metallica" the self titled one of course. Black Album is actually a tribute to Metallica, and I still don't know why people keep referring to it as that... Ride the lightning had terrible terrible songs... I remember buying it on cassette and feeling ripped off for the $12.00 I paid for it... I was upset. Master of Puppets was good. Of it I especially enjoyed Disposable Heroes, I used to like Master of Puppets till it becamse extremely overplayed, and realized there was no lyrical content I actually enjoyed. Just because I think they're bad, doesn't mean everyone else does, agreed? AS for whoever posted earlier on what Megadeth album was better out of a choice of 3, it would be Cryptic writings, The world needs a hero was the first album I bought on CD, the rest I had on tape, and some I just didn't have at all, and currently have all of them. Cryptic writings will introduce you to "She wolf" and "use the man" which are two of my most favorite songs.
I'd just like to point out Dave wrote "Ride the Lightning", part of "Call of Ktulu" and maybe a few other songs on RTL.
I know, totally different time frame, he also wrote a lot into "Kill 'em all" and I enjoyed the songs on there that he did do. But Ride the Lightning just didn't do it for, regardless of who did it. I own the Cd, and I just never have the impulse to put it in and listen again, I've tried, it's just not for me. But like I keep saying, there's already a place to discuss Metallica.

My buddy and I once jammed in the middle of Guitar Center. We played Hangar 18, Peace Sells, The Trooper, and Aces High. That day the store was our bitch.

Okay, i have enough money for two albums, which ones do i buy. So far so good so what? Hidden treasures Youthanasia Countdown to extension. Are the ones they have in stock at HMV.
So Far, So Good... So What! Hidden Treasures
Bought so far so good so what and killing is my business from amazon. I figure then i'll be able to collect the rest in order of the date they were released :D
countdown is my favourite of those 3
Endgame isn't bad, bodies is awesome, Sealed with a kiss is good too, 44 minutes melody is catchy, Dialectic is awesome overall : best album since Rust in Peace? lolno, more likely better than Risk
Hidden Treasures is good if you buy the re-released edition. That one has a few more songs. I have the original. I needed it for "go to hell" which I have no idea why they didn't put that on a regular album. It was a good song. I also got MD45, the Dave Mustaine side project... and... I would not recommend. The lead singer sounds too much like the guy from Clutch and I hate Clutch. If Dave sang, the songs would be great,
you do know he rereleased MD45 with him singing it rite?
....no. Where do I get a hold of this miraculous release? And how do I tell its the correct one. Is the cover different?
....no. Where do I get a hold of this miraculous release? And how do I tell its the correct one. Is the cover different?
The remastered version has Dave singing instead of Lee Ving.
The remastered version has Dave singing instead of Lee Ving.
I want the remastered version :emo:
I want the remastered version :emo:
I was just reading about that album, apparently the only reason Dave sang on the remaster is because the vocal and harmonica tracks were missing. He filled in the vocals with his own, and simulated the harmonica on a guitar.

FUCK! If iTunes is right, I still have 2 days to go until Endgame! ARGH! I don't wanna wait (fuck you, people who listened to the leak) for a legal copy...
So, when do we get it in Europe, or is the release worldwide?
Metadeth sounds good actually.
Yeah But you don't pronounce it Meh-tah-deth It's May-tah-deth. Sounds awesome that way.
