Being older I realize the most successful bands have only one word in the name, or a word that is a combined form of two, like "Megadeth" technically two words, but... I've noticed if you can not describe your band in 2 words or less, it's usually a shitty band. (IMO) Examples would be "taking back Sunday" or "Can you Still Feel The Butterflies" or "Dave matthews Band" "Every Time I die" etc...
then there are the bands that are as short as possible, and they are usually good, (IMO) "Scorpions" "megadeth" "metallica" "Mudvayne" "Incubus" "Godsmack" "Flobots"etc...
Then there are the ones I think don't follow the pattern, because I don't know if the words or parts actually stand for anything... like "ZZ Top" "MD45." "
