He misheard the lyrics or something, so he made stuff up, the original writer of the song sued them, so they censored random lyrics to keep him happy on the remaster, hence it sounds like one of those heartbeat monitors.

Lee Hazelwood (the writer of the original song) recieved royalties for 10 years after the release of Killing Is My Business before objecting. After he objected, all singles, albums and remasters that contained the song had to be censored.
