Dragon in my Dreams brought tears to my eyes.
my first gaming device was a Mac OS 9.2
first gaming device was a n64 or ps1. I can't remember which came first.
My first console was a Megadrive I thought it was amazing. I only had a SNES for a few months when my dad's friend was staying with us and it was awesome, he had Starfox, he had Mario Kart, he had some side scrolling Star Wars game. It was great. That was all he had though, I played other NES and SNES games later on emulators.
My friend had a NES, but my parents bought me SNES pretty much the day it came out!
Fuck he was jealous.

Cinemassacre 200 is absolutely fantastic.
Young James is still better at reviewing than IGN.

Yeah, they are. It really shows what a creativ an passionate guy he is.
I found it funny that he was talking about manipulative marketing techniques whilst editing the video on a mac :v:
I went from a NES -> SNES -> N64 -> PC
Although I had friends who had a Genesis(and the Sega CD) so I got to play awesome games like Streets of Rage, Golden Axe, and Altered Beast.

I don't get it.
I was a Snes fanboy too,Untill we got robbed(It was the only thing they took) Fucking thiefs.
Then we got a n64 !,So much fun ! ahhhhh the Perfect dark deathmatches !
As a kid I played on a mega drive before a snes, but I had a 64 at home. I used to go round to vantyre's house and play sonic, we used to play it for hours on end and it was great, when he came to mine we used to play fzero x and zelda. I recently got a snes and I love it, but its a hard choice which one I prefer.
My first game system was the original Gameboy, and I had that sucker for years. I loved that little plastic brick. First Mario game I ever played was Super Mario Land.
First CONSOLE? Super NES.
What I think I loved most was that my Dad was always a gamer. He'd wax nostalgic about arcade games like the original Donkey Kong or Asteroids all the time, and he played Tetris and Mario Land on that Gameboy as much as I did. I can still hear him yelling "Bullshit!" at the thing when it didn't register him jumping with the "A" button.
And with the SNES it was always Mario Kart. And with the N64, we always played Goldeneye. Hell, my uncle even got him on the PC with stuff like Warcraft and Starcraft, and I remember acting as his cheering section when he took on "Return to Castle Wolfenstein," using the arrow keys for movement instead of wasd, lol.
Never got much of a look at the Genesis or Playstation when it came out. Only ever saw it at one of my friends' house, but back then it looked amazing. Back when I saw the space levels in "Shadows of the Empire" and literally thought you could hit the hyperdrive and go anywhere in the galaxy...
PS3 is my first console.
Nintendo 64 was my first console and Super Mario 64 was my first game. I never played Legend of Zelda, Metroid, etc but a few years ago I sold my N64 at the flea market to get money for a Wii. Biggest mistake ever and I plan to fix that and complete my childhood one day.
My first console was a Playstation...
I feel like I missed out on a lot.
My first console was a Sega Dreamcast, but we had like 3 games. I played on PC my whole childhood though.
when I was born, we were out of that generation and into the realm of PS1 and N64. i grew up with a PS1 and a Genesis and had a PS2 on release day
Is there a reason he cheaped out on the production? He's standing in front of a greenscreen depicting his basement.
It looks to me like he's just sitting in his basement. Why would he use a green screen instead of just shooting in the real thing?
Oh god, around the point where he was trying to figure out the plural for Genesis, I went 'Megadrives' at the same time he did. :v:
So that's why the Sega Genesis always felt 'faster' than the SNES, the megahertz made the Genesis play sharper while the SNES typically played smoother.

At first I thought that too, but something is strange about it. Could be bad light though.

Apparently you completely missed the point - my post said nothing about macs being a shit platform. The point is that apple has incredibly manipulative marketing techniques, nothing more.

I don't get it, why are Macs better than Windows (Both are goddamn PCs) for editing movies? I edit videos once in a while and I don't see how it could be better on another OS. What is After Effects and Premier some how better on a Mac (Which I noticed most Mac film editors use anyways)

For a film maker, you should know that a PC is a PC, Mac has the same editors as PC.

I promote Logitech, Calvin Klein, AMD Radeon, Windows, Google, Comcast, Intel, Corsair, Old Navy, Perry Ellis, Old Spice, and The United States of America by replying to your absolutely fucking retarded post.

I'd think it would be better on a PC because of all the keyboard shortcuts
If you take the mouse out of a PC you can still pretty much do everything if you know the commands, there aren't really that many on a mac.
Some of the software you can get.
Final Cut Pro is a great example, it's Mac exclusive, and it's great!
I'm pretty sure that's 120% up to personal preference rather than capabilities.
I started off with the Nintendo 64, and those early years of gaming were the best I've ever had.
Just running around Hyrule Field on Zelda for the first time was epic.

Final cut pro
[editline]15th August 2012[/editline]
Though Final Cut was made by Macromedia, Apple bought it off them
