Actually very few German soldiers wore the red arm band, it was mostly generals and high ranking officers the wore it.
Just make them vaporize.

a unshaded redo of my tank whenever i try and do a tank i cant get it to look right.
I read somewhere that it was the Challenger 2.
And someone told you to use a reference when using tanks. Well when you got a defined tank, use the relevant reference.
i have been useing refrence pics even thoug it does not turn out the way i want sometimes.
No one will blame you for that, just make sure you look at the right tank when spriting it. All I meant.

You could have him lean a little forward, to resist recoil, as in standing in a firing position.

The MG42 should be thicker overall. After all, it was normally used as a mounted turret!
The MG42 should be thicker overall. After all, it was normally used as a mounted turret!
Well based on the reference pics I was looking it it's barrel was about as thick as a Kar 98 (Give or take some) so I was not wanting to make it to big.

Uh....The image won't work in Paint :/

The MG42 barrel is a bit longer than the Kar98K, but much thicker.

Well ask yourself this :
Does it even resemble the tank I am drawing?
If you can't answer the question yourself, it does not, and you should redo it.
Once it resembles the tank you're drawing, put it up here so that we can give you some more tips on what needs to be done :)
Take a look at the pictures I linked to you, most tanks are roughly the same size heightwise nowadays, and you'll see that one of your soldiers should reach up to beneath the barrel of the turret.
By the way, Seymour, I LOVE your sprites, seriously they are amazing! However, there is one slight flaw, they are a little too big, I measured them at 27 Pixels.

What do we think?
Oh and Shadowcat that pose was awesome! Love it. :D

Ehh I know D: Nevermind. I think without the couple of extra pixels they wouldn't look half as good!
It doesn't really matter, c'mon, 2 pixels?
I thought the height limit was 30 pixels...
I thought the height limit was 30 pixels...
There isn't really a limit, but the standard is around 25
