Google GraphicsGale, it's a really good program meant for pixel art that can rotate easily.

Cool, also, I had an idea for an attack for your aliens.
How about you remake the pointing pose for your aliens and make it shoot fire (the fires colour depends on the colour of the actual alien)
I think it'd look pretty good :D

A good fire effect? Use the spray tool, use yellow, orange and red but you'll have to very quickly tap you mouse, touchpad if you want the right amount.
Also, I done 2 tests (The tests being with new weapons and bodies)

Ok, I've tested out my weapons a bit more by doing my guy frying an enemy with the flamethrower and the other one is just my guy firing blindly into the sky.
Now to work on my ghillie suit guy
