That's how humanity works.
I ignore Justin Bieber, but I'll still laugh when someone does something like this.
This is the best thing ever.

"That's how humanity works"
What? Following each other like packs of sheep? Yeah. I get that's how majority of people work.
The fact that you laugh at someone shoving a hate sign in some kids face, a kid who hasn't actually done anything totally horrible and wrong, is an aggressive act in itself. You even took the time to reply that he's a horrible musician, stating it like fact when nothing like that can be stated as fact.
What you're doing, as well as majority of people on this thread, is akin to the kids who stand around laughing and pointing at another kid because that kid is getting beaten up by a "cool" bully. There's just something really off about it...
He even got a custom name. Great work kid. Great work.
Yes. People are sheep, sad but true.
No, I find it hilarious that the kid actually signed it.
Of course I stated it like a fact, it's my opinion so it's fact to me.
This is nothing like someone being assaulted, the kid is a celebrity. He chooses to be under the spotlight, for better or worse. If he doesn't want mocked, he can get off the podium.

Your avatar is a butthole.
Your argument is invalid.

That's ridiculous. If someone loves what they do and it makes them famous, that's how it's going to be, I don't think it gives anyone an actual right to go and mock them openly and abuse them with names for totally asinine reasons. It gives him opportuninity to make money so that he can keep up his passion, as well as share it with a lot of people - which is the goal of most artists, right?

Well, that's what you get when you select "no avatar". *shrugs*
How is my argument invalid?
I dreamed i did this last night
People are annoyed by him and make fun of him anyway. That's what people do, they're not all the white knights of chivalry that you are.
People have the right to free speech, for better or worse. I'd say that's more important than protecting the feelings of a kid who is set for life and might be devastated to learn that not everyone is a screaming fan.
Comparing making fun of the successful to singling out and assaulting someone is ridiculous.

Why are people annoyed by him though, to the point where they will start a whole thread about how they got away with shoving a hate sign in a persons face? I mean to me, that's more than annoyance there...
Yeah sure, people have the right to their opinions, I totally do not disagree on that. But there are certain respects we should all generally pay one another, as decent human beings. He's obviously not going out of his way to hurt or disrespect anyone, so I don't see how he warrants that response from other people. It's so unnecessarily hostile for a person to go out of their way to write a sign like that.
"Comparing making fun of the successful to singling out and assaulting someone is ridiculous."
It's actually really similar to me. Lots of successful people get made fun of mainly because other peoples ego's are absolutely threatened by them. A smart person may get made fun of in school and teased because in terms of academics, they are a success, and it makes people who are insecure in this area feel better when they are able to mock and bully them. It establishes a sense of power and elitism for them and prolongs their sense of reality where they don't have confront their own sense of insecurity, I think.
AWesome!
Op unbanned? :D Nice.
Op is epic and deserves a medal.

Seemingly, bodyguards can't protect someone from abusive comments coming from other people.
Given his age and his position, I would say he knows there are people who are his fans, and people who are his "haters", and to remain where he is, he would need to have a tough skin to deflect the negativity that manages to reach him.
But I guess what I'm wondering is why there are "haters" for celebrities. Why single out a person you don't like instead of ignoring them? To me, a person will go out of their way to do that to someone because they feel threatened by that particular person. You can see this happen when it becomes more than just disliking their music and shrugging it off, these people have the need to tell that person how "stupid" they are, what a "cunt" they are because it boosts their own lack of self-esteem. In my eyes, it's a cowardly way to cope with insecurity.
I'm pretty sure he has enough money and fame to not give a damn about what teenagers think of him on the internet.

If you don't like how everyone is acting, don't reply. You pretty much just said the same thing yourself.
This thread is now endorsed by Garry and Hezzy. Nice job OP, I wish I could see justin's face.

Money and fame = self-confidence? Self-acceptance?
That isn't the case at all.

He has thousands of pre-teen female fans and a lot of records sold. If he can't be thankful for that and instead worry about some inane posts on the internet then he doesn't deserve self confidence and self acceptance.

I'm stating my opinion and questioning peoples reactions. I'm not saying people can't have opinions, I'm just disagreeing with what is being said. I'm not insulting anyone as far as I know, or trying to put anyone down, which is what the intention of the OP seems to be. I'm looking at it from a logical perspective and trying to understand the reasonings behind this apparent hate and dislike.

It's not so much all of these other posts, as much as it is the guy who stuck that sign in front of his face. Even if he didn't notice it, it's just not a decent thing to do to someone, in my opinion.
I think you definitely have a twisted sense of self-acceptance if you think that these things should make anyone feel good about themselves.
Look at Kurt Cobain for instance, assuming for a moment that he did actually commit suicide and wasn't murdered.

And you really think he couldn't just laugh it off or anything like that.
Well Kurt Cobain had many issues with depression. I highly doubt Justin Boober would blow his brains out because people don't like his music.
oh no i said "boober" that might upset the bieber.
Next week i am going to exploit this as much as possible in order to piss off every female in school i can find.

I don't know, I'm not in a position to know what Justin Bieber's coping mechanism is, if he has one?
Yes, Kurt Cobain has issues, issues with himself unrelated to his fame and fortune. See, my point is, even Kurt Cobain's fame and fortune couldn't pacify him and make him feel better about his life. That's the point, I'm not saying that this kid is going to blow his brains out because people don't like him. I'm saying that fame and fortune isn't enough to make a person feel completely happy and good about themselves.
Garry Tweeted about this, OP now has a custom title.

Everyone has different ways of feeling happy and good about themselves.
Congrats OP. Your post has been spread through the facebook community
i don't think i would have survived.
even though i'm a green belt in taekwondo, i still don't think that i would have survived
Nicely done
Everyone has different ways of feeling happy and good about themselves.
Yeah definitely man, but in my experience with the world, material possessions don't make anyone truly accept themselves for who they are on the inside. I don't think money and clothes alone make anyone feel good about themselves on the inside. Yet you claim that he should be able to cope with it all purely because he has money and fame, which is what I'm disagreeing with.
