I had a Lucid dream when I was about 3, I think it was Lucid, but it was not vivid at all, it was so clear I can remember it to well. I woke up and an orange butterfly was about my head, It scared me for some reason, then It disappeared, so I got up and looked out my window, there stood an enormous pink cotton candy resembling monster, no facial features at all, then I ran to my moms bed and grabbed her nose, her face was Jet black, and as I grabbed her nose It made a cartoon like honking sound. I was scarred for life. I couldn't remember just what that was.
I'm asking the same questions man. :(
I'm confused, it hasn't happened since then.
Sleep Paralysis
UHG! I have these same kinds of "Hallucinations" That's probably the best way to describe them yet they aren't really per say. One of mine was similar I had a late hockey game and went to bed after it and I got up in bed and thought "What am I doing I'm playing hockey why am I in bed " and I couldn't decide if I was playing hockey or in bed. Finally I took a good look at my surroundings and realized I was in my room and then went to sleep. I have these all the time and are very annoying.

It's not sleep paralysis, because you can move.. and it's different.
it's not lucid dreaming, folks
sorry to burst your bubble but it's called hynagogic hallucinations, and it often occurs when you're on the cusp of sleep. your consciousness begins to drain into the realm of sleep and sometimes pulls back out, bringing dreams with it. often you will snap out of it, but sometimes you'll just float off into a dream.

Thanks a lot man. That's it.
Pinpointed:
Tetris effect
People who have spent a long time at some repetitive activity before sleep, in particular one that is new to them, may find that it dominates their imagery as they grow drowsy, a tendency dubbed the Tetris effect. This effect has even been observed in amnesiacs who otherwise have no memory of the original activity.[27] When the activity involves moving objects, as in the video game Tetris, the corresponding hypnagogic images too tend to be perceived as moving. The Tetris effect is not confined to visual imagery, but can manifest in other modalities also. For example, Robert Stickgold recounts having experienced the touch of rocks while falling asleep after mountain climbing.[28] This can also occur to people who have travelled on a small boat in rough seas, or swum in waves, shortly before going to bed, and they "feel" the waves as they drift to sleep, or people who have spent the day skiing who continue to "feel snow" under their feet.
no problem, it happens to me a lot too.
really sucks when you're just about to fall asleep and you hear someone shouting your name and you wake up because of it.
I've experienced this a lot of times before.
In lucid dreams do you actually control your body and feel shit and stuff? If so, HOW DO YOU KNOW YOU AREN'T IN ONE RIGHT NOW?

A lucid dream is when YOU KNOW YOUR DREAMING! you also don't usually move around. They are also quite vivid.

You can control these dreams, try flying.
Wasn't there like a guide on how to have lucid dreams regularly? If so... give me
I don't really like dreaming. It makes it feel like I'm sleeping longer than my normal 15 and a half hours...
Why do you need help with this OP? Have fun with it! As long as you don't sleepwalk, have trouble sleeping, or have PSTD, then don't worry about it.
Hallucinations... You guys are all high

Yes, I read one called exploring the world of lucid dreaming, also look on ehow. They gave good tips. It works for me. If I get long enough sleep, I can have them every time. I have them 4 days a week.
Also I don't want to have fun, because it's not lucid. I think it's real, therefor I could technically walk and kill someone, but it would be hard because these lucid dreams are from repetitive motions, noises like concerts or emotional feelings.
I hate the hour or so before I fall asleep. I'm constantly afraid because I know my mind can fuck with me all it wants and I cant do anything about it.
I was once camping out and I woke needing a piss.
I looked around the tent floor and instead of seeing people and bags I saw loads of toy cranes and toy cars, after staring for a while they slowly faded or just vanished leaving me shitting bricks...
Make sure you get help from an actual doctor not a quack.
I had a lucid dream that eventually ended with me waking up with my face in my couch and my little brother hitting me with a pillow.
