Why is it so many people in this topic are suddenly failing to use capitalization and punctuation? It's really fucking odd.
im a bad influence on kids i know
Why is it so many people in this topic are suddenly failing to use capitalization and punctuation? It's really fucking odd.
uh because it's more fun and apparently it makes some people angry?????? idk!
(User was banned for this post ("No debate presented, asking a question" - Megafan)) im not being a hardass, im telling you that you get banned for doing that
Alright, I'll take that back then. I already sent a PM to a mod to please close it. But someone should REALLY start a thread there because this seems to be a great arguement deserving of one.
Whats so girly looking about Roxas? I think he looks fine. You are the one saying he looks effeminate, not me.
uh ok, he does look effeminate, that's a fact saying he's a woman for looking effeminate is bad
Why is it so many people in this topic are suddenly failing to use capitalization and punctuation? It's really fucking odd.
The thread is going very fast, so not bothering to capitalize and using improper punctuation helps you respond faster. Also, as the thread has been going on for a long time, people get tired and just stop caring. Although, when I do it, I'm doing it to be sarcastic, condescending, or humorous. As for why I'm even responding to this? eh I'm bored
uh ok, he does look effeminate, that's a fact saying he's a woman for looking effeminate is bad
Its not a fact? I dont think he looks effeminate at all. Maybe you guys were looking at fan art, because in game he looks like a straight up guy.
Why is it so many people in this topic are suddenly failing to use capitalization and punctuation?
Whats so girly looking about Roxas? I think he looks fine. You are the one saying he looks effeminate, not me, it actually never crossed my mind, and I still dont see it after you said it.
His face looks very soft, and his hair looks styled. Things generally associated with being 'effeminate' by some people. Then again, that's anime style for you.
Then again, that's anime style for you.
his bicep is bigger than his brain
Look, it's obvious why you did it. Stop backpedelling. You chose an effeminite looking dude and said he was a girl because the way he looked, which IS seriously a problem.
Oh my fucking god please stop already You are like these people who regularly expel kids from school because they held food or paper like guns
Oh my fucking god please stop already
wow rude
you're already dead
Perfect counterpoint! (Even though I was making a joke at the expense of anime originally.) But this just proves my point more: Even if you limit it to anime style games, there are still male characters that wouldn't be called effeminate looking by some people. And he just happens to choose the bishie. Yay subconscious!
i think a mass debate thread on whether roxas is effeminate or not might be a much better idea than an anita sarkeesian thread.
His face looks very soft, and his hair looks styled. Then again, that's anime style for you.
Sounds cuter than hard cut manly men. The concept of men looking anything like the societal image of men is a peeve of mine. Too bad the only real art form that depicts softer, more androgynous characters even semi-consistently is also one where the human autonomy is warped beyond recognition.
i think a mass debate thread on whether roxas is effeminate or not might be a much better idea than an anita sarkeesian thread.
Shit, I'm all in. I'll present Roxas' favorite treat of sea-salt ice cream as my first piece of evidence.
come on do you really think this isn't feminine looking
Shit, I'm all in. I'll present Roxas' favorite treat of sea-salt ice cream as my first piece of evidence.
I don't understand how salt and ice cream is supposed to go together. A while back I bought some sea-salted caramel chocolates because my sister said that they taste awesome. I ended up giving them all to her because I couldn't stand the taste. We need a mass debate thread on unconventional flavor combinations in food.
So first users I see in a thread about women are yawmmen, ownedderd, and shadeez. Either I'm stepping into a war zone, or I'm walking in the ruins of a shitstorm.

That's not effeminate or androgynous, neither is that other character now that I've googled him. This is effeminate and androgynous. I thought it was a girl the first time I saw this picture.
I don't understand how salt and ice cream is supposed to go together.
salt lowers the freezing temperature of water, you need salt to make ice cream
come on do you really think this isn't feminine looking
it's androgynous and that sort of character design is meant to appeal to women (see: visual kei)
come on do you really think this isn't feminine looking
No, I see a young guy, nothing feminine about it. Should he have mud on his face, maybe a cigar, and a stern mean look?
hooded sniper maybe needs to study anatomy a bit
it's androgynous and that sort of character design is meant to appeal to women (see: visual kei)
I know
it's the facial features that define that look as "androgynous" or "feminine" for that matter. small nose, large eyes, distance between eyes, rounded jawline, length of face, hair, skin tone
salt lowers the freezing temperature of water, you need salt to make ice cream
cool But I mean adding salt (or salt flavor) to ice cream. You normally can't really taste the salt in ice cream. Or maybe you can and I just haven't noticed because it's too subtle. In which case, sea salt ice cream is adding too much salt.
I know
i was clarifying for everyone. you can ask the character designer, the character is clearly designed to look cute and more like a woman as such traits are less "sexually threatening" to girls etc
