wow you're awfully defensive for someone claiming a neutral viewpoint. That post wasn't even directed at anyone in particular, yet you manage to read so much into it. And the fact that you say the type of gay person you hate is the 'gay' ones kind of says more than anything else could
The post was directed at me, I'm certainly not blind and read 'MitchvW'.
And I'm being defensive because I like defending my statements, also you may think what you want about me ;).

well lets just read into what you said, you said that the type of gay person you hate is the 'gay' type, implying that what you don't like about gays is their sexuality, so for lack of a better definition, you are still a homophobe.
well lets just read into what you said, you said that the type of gay person you hate is the 'gay' type, implying that what you don't like about gays is their sexuality, so for lack of a better definition, you are still a homophobe.
So I'm a homophobe for hating gays who exaggerate their sexuality? That you like people from the same sex, I'm fine with that, but don't exaggerate it by annoying other people with it.
well lets just read into what you said, you said that the type of gay person you hate is the 'gay' type, implying that what you don't like about gays is their sexuality, so for lack of a better definition, you are still a homophobe.
Okay. I'm all for criticizing this guy, but at the same time, we shouldn't be. This isn't a thread to be calling people out on things. I think this thread was made to open up the minds of the people who don't like the gay community. And if they don't want to open their minds, then we shouldn't shove anything down their throats (:v:)
mitch shut up you are incredibly annoying
yes you're a homophobe because you're stereotyping and no i will never meet someone like what you're describing because "that type of gay person" doesn't exist
nobody exaggerates their sexuality because that isn't possible and doesn't even make sense.
And if they don't want to open their minds, then we shouldn't shove anything down their throats (:v:)
we should~
So I'm a homophobe for hating gays who exaggerate their sexuality? That you like people from the same sex, I'm fine with that, but don't exaggerate it by annoying other people with it.
the way you described it was that you hate 'gay' gays, which implies that the part you hate about gay people is the gay part. I'm just reading what I'm given, you could have written it differently if you'd meant something else. People are how people are, the ones who 'exaggerate' their sexuality would be like that regardless of sexual orientation, so that shouldn't even come into the debate to be honest.
Edit: and this is the thing that really annoys me, people bring up 'exaggerated' gays like the exaggeration has anything to do with the sexuality and not the personality. All different types of people are 'exaggerated' about all different types of things, you're picking on one area and acting like it's isolated.
You will find out one day, young one.
im older than u

Sometimes sexuality changes people, in a worse way.
But I hope that you understand that I don't have gay people in general, just the ones who take it to a 'new level'.
im older than u
I surely want to know how old I am then.
The stupidity of this post makes all further arguments from you invalid.
So do I, I'm gay and support gay rights. He hates a certain accent, got a problem with that?
Come at me!
Sometimes sexuality changes people, in a worse way.

Sexuality changing a person?! How does that make any sense?
a gay person doesn't just turn gay and then change who they are.
Sometimes sexuality changes people, in a worse way.

but like I said, that's nothing to do with sexual orientation, that's to do with personality. A straight person could be openly exaggerated about their sexual prowess, or a guy who loves guitars could be openly exaggerated about his love of guitars. It's nothing to do with the sexuality
well lets just read into what you said, you said that the type of gay person you hate is the 'gay' type, implying that what you don't like about gays is their sexuality, so for lack of a better definition, you are still a homophobe.
That's not what he said. He is trying to say he hates people who throw their sexuality in people's faces all of the time and define themselves solely by it. Which is indeed bad, just like it's annoying when straight guys can't stop acting all macho and don't stop talking about how much pussy they get. It's just that he's doing a remarkably really shitty job of saying that.
On the whole choice vs. born that way, I think it's in between, some people DO choose to be gay in one way or another, and some are born with a certain predisposition for it. The choice vs. born that way argument is totally irrelevant anyway, since it shouldn't influence whether they're tolerated or not.
Sometimes sexuality changes people, in a worse way.
Yes and that happens when they wake up and choose to be gay, right?
But I hope that you understand that I don't have gay people in general, just the ones who take it to a 'new level'.
um what
I surely want to know how old I am then.
irrelevant, but you have a runescape video on your youtube channel from a year ago: you can not be older than 15
That's not what he said. He is trying to say he hates people who throw their sexuality in people's faces and define themselves by it. It's just that he's doing a really shitty job of saying that.

would he hate people who define themselves by their job, then? What about people who define themselves by their hobbies? These are all essentially in the same boat.
Sexuality changing a person?! How does that make any sense?

Sometimes people who just turned gay follow the stereotypical media way, with personality clothing etc.
some people DO choose to be gay in one way or another
then how is it that nobody has ever documented a case where someone chose to be gay and naturally had biological changes to reflect the biological differences of a strict homosexual
Sometimes people who just turned gay follow the stereotypical media way, with personality clothing etc.
just turned gay
ok can't take you seriously

So just because I played Runescape means I'm not older then 15?
And you are saying that I'm stereotyping.. WOW
Coincidence: I have to leave this debate to go to perform a play that I'm in called "Speech and Debate" where I play a gay kid in high school
Yes and that happens when they wake up and choose to be gay, right?

I have never said that, also why are you all teaming up on me?
I'm just trying to make my opinion clear and you all seem not be liking it, then why make a thread about this in the first place?
RS is stupid, but your stereotyping
duh

Never said what? I'm being serious. I have to get off the computer and leave because call for the play is at 6:30. I have to be at a theatre because I am in a play where I take on the role of a gay kid in a high school.

Also I have just looked on your facebook, since you like stalking my YouTube aswell, and that picture doesn't seem like you are over 15 either way.

I'm with you, strayebyrd is one of those people who take something that is perfectly innocent directed at a minority, but not necessarily positive, and take it as outright hatred. But it doesn't help that you are being ultra defensive and are about as eloquent as tourettes guy speaking on this issue.
you need to tell me what the dates are for the show. I don't check facebook!
Tonight and tomorrow are the last performances. tonight it starts at 8pm. and tomorrow at 3pm. I thought I texted you :O oh no. I really want you to come because i got the term "doteupcats" in the play without anyone knowing. call me for more deatz. gotta go.
Also I have just looked on your facebook, since you like stalking my YouTube aswell, and that picture doesn't seem like you are over 15 either way.
