From where I see it, homosexuality is, like paraphiliae (of which it perhaps could be considered one), something that develops when very young. I highly doubt this is a genetic thing (perhaps a slight genetic pre-disposition, but that would be like saying one is genetically predisposed to maths). I am fairly certain of this because I have first hand experience with sexual deviancies and I have no doubt in my mind that homosexuality is little different- just more widespread.

However if the child wants it, that's another topic that involves maturity and self consciousness of choice. All things that are debatable as hell and clearly offtopic. I'm not going to judge anyone for watching or faping to it. There's the law and there's peoples consciousness, so everyone knows about himself. Sure someone can turn gay if you teach them at very young age, but mostly it's genetic. Even animals are sometimes gay, there's no way they could develop that trait.

reminds me of a stupid teen show we had here that had like perfect teens that experience life n stuff and their math teacher was gay and they made a whole epiosde wher one of the characters was like lol fag and the rest of em were like dude not cool this is HOMOPHOBIC!!!! and then the teacher heaerd him and cried that show sucked

From a religious standpoint, being who you are can't separate you from a loving God. From a "natural order" standpoint, homosexuality has been observed in LOADS of different types of creatures. From an American standpoint, we're all human beings and who we want to be free to pursue happiness with is up to us. Personally, I'm not gay, but not being accepting of gays is idiotic. Also, just to add to the knowledge pool of the thread, people interpret it differently, but the actual stance of the Catholic Church is that homosexuals are loved by God just the same, and that it is wrong not to accept them, but the Church also protects the whole "sanctity of marriage" thing, so gays are called to live a life of celibacy. I don't agree with it, but it's a little better than what most people think their stance is.

I hate the terms 'pro' and 'anti' gay or gay marriage. It just sounds ridiculous, you don't have to be like "Yayyy!!! Homosexuals!" In order to be accepting of gays, just treat them as if you would any other human being, not because of their sexuality.
