1. Jealousy does not constitute a hate crime
2. Gypsies are hated needlessly in some cases yes, but as collectives they actively break the law. Homosexuality is a passive thing that people are oppressed for so I have more support for them. Yes I'll defend gypsies if the need arises but half the time that's like defending the London rioters.

A gay pride parade isn't just for gay people.
It's a parade for anyone who supports equal rights for LGBT people and are proud of the progress the group has made in society up to now.

Hetero's are everywhere, that would be silly and pointless.
Gay pride parades, black freedom parades, etc, are all to express a minorities freedom of race or gender.
I personally don't like these parades either. They seem very "in your face". And they serve no purpose. I've yet to hear people tolerating gays more after they did a parade.

I guess they're ok, but originally they were to express freedom and 'parading' this freedom everywhere 'because we are free and want to express our freedom and human rights'.
