I don't hate the parades. I just hate the traffic it can cause and the smell of horse shit after its over.

I believe gays should have the same rights as any straight person, it's not like they're causing any problems in society. Hell, homosexuality is common in tons of other species but ours is the only one that seems to think it's "Immoral" or "Terrible." The only time the fact that someone is gay would annoy me is if they flaunt it everywhere to get attention, but that goes with pretty much anything.

In idea, pride parades are meant to celebrate achievements and acceptance of minority, they don't exist simply for the sake that homosexuality does.
In execution, it is an embarrassment, I agree.

Gay guys who dance in their undies are the equivalent of a straight alpha as fcuk guy. Every social group has its extremes. I think you'll find most people who go to a gay pride parade walk around dressed the same as any straight person, without any of the obnoxious attitude people in this thread complain about.

Well it is kind of a choice. It's a choice of coming out or living a lie. I've been in denial for the past, oh I don't know, 6 years, and before that I just wasn't interested in anyone. You can actually force yourself to act straight, I've been forcing myself to like girls, so much so that I became obsessed with liking them. Then eventually when I found out that I've been trying to block homosexual fantasies, I became a much happier person. I now know what it feels like to love someone and not be obsessed with them.
