and he's wrong because that isnt a thing that actually happens
I'm a person raised a by homophobes - my parents, teachers and the kids around me, while I may still be considered and called homophobic, that's not how I will raise my children, and they'll learn that everyone is equal. Me? I'm far too impregnated with constant propaganda to view homosexuality as something normal. I'm not proud of that, but I know how to keep my mouth shut, so I won't be shouting anti-homosexual propaganda, my hands to myself, so I won't be a part of any lynch-mob or a group beating up innocent people, and nor would I participate in any vote against homosexual marriage, so I can't even consider myself a threat against gays. But hey - even for having such a view point I guess I'm the anti-christ for you guys.
This post was going well until the last sentence.

I know, that's why I characterized it as "fear of the "political correctness" bogeyman"
gays are genetically different from normal humans - they should not be treated equally
WOW
I mean WOW
1) It's not yet been proven that "gays are genetically different from normal humans"
2) It has been scientifically proven that race is genetic - therefore, people that look black are "genetically different" from those who don't (yes I know everyone is genetically different from everyone else, and I really don't want to be seen as implying that races should be somehow separate, that's not what I mean, but there are genes specific to skin tone and all that). Are you seriously arguing that we should treat people different based on race? No, because then everyone would hate you for being a racist crazyman. So why is sexual orientation different?
I think he's implying that gays are being unfairly treated better than everyone else, fear of the "political correctness" bogeyman and all.
he clearly says they shouldn't be treated well. He supports them being mistreated.

being jewish is a choice, being gay is a genetic mutation
Everybody's different from each other. I live around people like you and its no wonder I havent come out yet.
gays are genetically different from normal humans - they should not be treated equally
Get out
that's pretty easy to say when you aren't in a position of persecution. If someone told me to calm down because someone else said Jews shouldn't be treated equally, I probably wouldn't calm down.
I like how you assume I'm not.
I just make an active effort to not care, because it doesn't matter, especially in this case.
this is 100 percent not true dude. even if occasionally someone is, like, overly nice to a gay person (ghastly) in the vast majority of places they still lack most a number of things that they deserve, such as protection from housing and employment discrimination and the right to marry.
You seem to have missed the part about context. Of course you're right, in most places that is true. Even if you rarely see it, the situation I describe does happen.
Even if you rarely see it, the situation I describe does happen.
Throw us a plausible one, advocate.
Even if you rarely see it, the situation I describe does happen.
Such as where? Can you name even one example?
Well, time to put my major to use: Biologically speaking, us homosexuals are actually helping to prolong the human race. Because homosexuals increase competition on females, females become more fertile, there by helping them to produce more offspring. So, despite what a small group of people here are saying, homosexuals are actually an important part of the human biosphere, not second class citizens because we're "genetically different."
Get out
I agree get out.

huh? how do they increase competition for females?
huh? how do they increase competition for females?
Because homosexual men remove more men for mating with females, that decreases the amount of men available to mate with females. Thus, females must be more fertile to make up for this decrease of available mates. The same goes vice-versa for lesbians.

oh, the females have to compete more. I thought you meant that men would compete more for the women.
Hey more women for the rest of us.
It sure took a while for the Homophobic fuckwits to show up.

I really hope you aren't referring to me, because if you actually read my previous post, then you'd know that I'm gay.

if someone implies you should be treated subhuman, then it does matter mate
I don't have much of a problem with gays. I have a problem with gays that are like making out in public. Not sure why, I just have a feeling it gives kids odd thoughts.
I don't have much of a problem with gays. I have a problem with gays that are like making out in public. Not sure why, I just have a feeling it gives kids odd thoughts.
People making out in public is generally distasteful for me.
There is nothing wrong about homosexuality what so ever, and people that say so are often religious people because their religion has the strange idea of that it's an abonimation. They are people, and should be treated as such. Homophobia is just as bad as racism, and we're way past the racism stage now (however some of it still lingers around).
The reason homosexuals are rallying for their cause, setting up protests, marches and such, is because they have been discriminated against for a longer period of time. They are still discriminated against, and that's why they're trying to make people realize that it's who they are.

Something seems odd about this math.
Say you have a hundred men and a hundred women, and one out of every ten are homosexual. There'd be ninety heterosexual men and ninety heterosexual women - the same amount either way, with or without homosexuals, so there wouldn't be any gender imbalance to compete over.
People making out in public is generally distasteful for me.
Only super insecure people would think kissing is distasteful in public, media blinds people from sexuality so much.

It does. But even worse are the people :(
I don't understand the title. Is OP asking what's so bad about them? Or is it like "What's wrong with them?", as if they have a disability?
I've been wondering for weeks.

I think it's meant to be a 'What's your problem with them?' sort of thing, although I'm not sure
Homosexuals are completely fine. Openly prosecuting them, leading rallies against them, etcetera and onwards is complete stupidity, but people can dislike them, just as I personally dislike hardcore Christians.
Many of the arguments against homosexuals are pretty stupid too. "They are genetically wrong, etc." doesn't work, since literally every change in genes IS a mutation, and it is not yet proven that the genetic code even MAKES homosexuals homosexuals.
Saying that they are wrong because of religious reasons is also stupid. Religion is a belief, beliefs are made up of opinions. Who is one to say that x person should be prosecuted, jailed, get treated worse than the other average person because they are a homosexual?
Saying that they screw things up scientifically, IE messing up the reproduction rate and the gene pool is also stupid (although less so than other reasons, perhaps). There is (as far as I know) no scientific evidence that homosexuals make women less fertile, have and give bad genes, etcetera. At this point, the argument is kind of grasping straws.
Most (probably all, in fact) arguments against homosexuality are based on opinion, and no matter how hard one tries, you simply can't argue that x shouldn't be x or that x is wrong based on opinion. It can't be done, it goes against the very definition of opinion.
I really hope you aren't referring to me, because if you actually read my previous post, then you'd know that I'm gay.
I'm referring to cbcobo and the "they shouldn't be treated as well herp" guy.
You're alright.
Nothing is wrong with gay people, some people are just really ignorant.
it's a little strange seeing a guy with make up.
this has nothing to do with the topic?
