Well, except I say the joke is still unfunny and contradicts with his older works, I admitted that he has at least improved in his art (not the Windows Paint-like shit) and he had avoided the 4-panels comics for once.
But the whole point of his comic series, the jokes, is still lacking.

They lack any punch, has no form of pacing and does not build up a joke but rather smear it all over the four panels.
There is also seldom a joke, and if there is a joke it is not original at all, it is mostly just centered around "I am cartoonist and I want to ramble about something but I want to ramble about it in a 4-panel-comic sort of way to make it look like a joke".
He's basically copying the formula of one of the most unfunniest comics on earth. Garfield. Just that Garfield keeps shut for 3 panels and then says something on the last that isn't funny or just pointing out how lazy he is or how something just happened on the previous 3 panels.
