Granted the music blows and his comics aren't funny and he's not a whiz at Photoshop, but as a cartoonist he really isn't that bad. At least his characters have actual expressions and he actually draws everything by hand.
Since when did being a cartoonist have "master of Photoshop" as a prerequisite? In fact, I'd say that the number of comics by true artists is far outweighed by the number with merely passable drawing ability.
Don't get me wrong, I'm all for making fun of shitty artists and shitty comics on the internet, but just because something sucks doesn't mean that sucks in every conceivable way. Make fun of things for the actual reason that they suck and leave the rest alone, otherwise you're just being an overcritical dick.

My problem with him really is in his "humor", his art is just fine (I mean look at explosm and their 'art').
The problem with him and basically most DA users is how full they are of themselves. Like someone said before, they're not the next Da Vinci, but neither is it the problem, the problem is that they are 100% convinced that they are.
And it just gets worse to an unbelievable point when someone draws elementary school type ms paint crap and tells you not to steal his masterpiece.
Basically what STeel said, his art is somewhat fine (though he does not plan to improve it), but it's his behaviour which is unbearable. He thinks because he is a cartoonist, he should be above everyone.

And in case you still think I'm a dick, I did help someone in Deviantart who did have huge problems with anatomy (his work had been posted in this topic), by showing some references books, and did a quick sketch. I told him to not take my sketch as a reference (the books are better for that), but just to let see his main flaws.
I helped him because he mostly knew, by himself, something was wrong and he just wanted help from anyone.

That question is kind of relative, since it's not specified if the "creating art" time includes research, planning, looking for references... and all the process you follow before drawing something that requires time; or it's just the time you spend since from the first pencil stroke to the end of the inking
If it's the latter I usually spend one hour more or less, two or more if it's something complex / i'm not used to draw
