Well, the spartans not master chief, so id say it's set around halo wars or before times, but everything except the spartan looks awesome, I mean the spartan looks like shit.

It... wasn't [I]too[/I] bad. honestly though it shouldn't be in an anime version. (characters are pretty bad too. Spartan looks pretty bad and the grunts eyes wtf)

This... When I originally heard they were coming out with this, I had one thought. It was either going to be very good (unlikely) or suck something awful (more likely). This is only preliminary, so I'm hesitant to draw any concretions from this short footage, but aw hell, it looks like all the worst aspects of anime. Improper and inconsistent scaling (Why, isn't that Brute awfully big all of a sudden?) Incessant, brooding, unlikable character, the usual anime archetypes Weird/stupid looking hair and anatomy (check out that guy's chin in the mess hall, the ODST fan) Ridiculous cinematography Crappy animation (Several points where I can really notice the spaces where frames should have been) Raping canon (okay, not THAT much) ... I could go on. Beside that, the style of anime really doesn't fit the Halo universe at all. It's supposed to be grim, gritty and realistic. People die, lots of people. And it hurts. Humanity is almost wiped out, and they expect us to take this shit as Halo? For those who know little about the Halo novels, yes the Spartans were originally Black Ops commandos so stealth is well within their operational ability. Doing massive double back flip leaps however? Not so much. I do believe at one point 117 managed to catch a missile, and that was an achievement. They are modified with enhanced reflexes and powered armor, but I seriously doubt a Spartan would be taking on a Brute in hand to hand combat. This really isn't believable in the least. The only part I really don't find insipid is the dialogue between the characters that is actually somewhat close to what I'd expect, but that's more because of the setting than anything. It feels like I'm watching practically any other anime. Halo deserves better than this bullshit.

Why the fuck is the Chief fighting with fists and shit. This is absolutely shit.

It's alright, but there's better shit comming out.

There is like 5 different studios making different ones so this is probably the one made by the shitty studio.

Why the fuck was the Brute 20 feet tall? Why was the Spartan doing flips and shit? Ugh, honestly it looks bad and I hate that they gave the go ahead to make it.
