One of my favourites. Carpenter's best next to In The Mouth of Madness.

But you can only boast about having seen this if you can boast about having not seen the sequel.
I saw the sequel first.
And the scope is attached to the silencer.
The funny thing is in the film, the silencer doesn't sound like a silencer, its loud as hell.

Real silencers don't silence anything. They just suppress.
our australian blu-ray is the same. been wanting to order the us blu-ray.
Yeah me too. It looks freaking sweet. I took the Optimum one back to the shop today and traded it for The Killer Inside Me.

haha, they do silence sound to a certain degree, a flash suppressor and a silencer are two different things, although a silencer does both, that said its still loud enough.

Well I think the point was that it's not meant to be a Mac10, but some kind of future gun.
And I meant the 'silencing' effect is still very loud.
Gun talk bores me
are they reamking Escape From New York
Yes unfortunately.
Although I am expecting Kurt to do a cameo as Hauk.
The only movies they should even consider remaking are insanely old movies in black and white, and even then they usually fuck those up beyond belief.
can't find a fucking trailer for the L.A one

if that was made in the 80's it would have done better in reviews
pretty much
Gee I sure love watching Snake play Basketball with himself and also SURFING
I enjoyed Escape from New York a lot more. When you get down too it, they're the same movie with tiny differences.
how can you not love kurt russell playing basketball (all of which is real, he trained every moment he could for it).
I liked New York, but Escape from L.A is much more entertaining.
of course it is, fucking kurt russell wrote the ending
Escape from L.A had too many shitty visual effects and cringe worthy characters, in my opinion at least.
The ending was brilliant though.
