Where's PETA? Surely they should be in this thread because OP didn't kill the sheep the "right" way.
The bugger was a real warrior, but my father and I finally plummeted it to submission.
It started gargling after one professionally swift beheading from my father's knife, after which it started squirming like mad before finally laying still.
Skinning it was a pain in its own right, I'm getting better at this by the year though; but now I have finger cramps from all the work, my index finger locked up and I had some difficulty writing this.
I also got a mild food poisoning as soon as we finished skinning it (from something I ate previously, obviously), and I couldn't participate cutting it up; I started feeling stomach cramps and the ground was shaking at my world-shattering, reality-tearing battle-cries, the ensuing campaign at my bathroom ended in victory however, but that's another story of bittersweet joy and tears.
I just had my breakfast, cooked out of my kill; rice and bread crumbs covered in freshly cooked meat, all soaked in gravy; I have to admit that tasting your own efforts manifested in a hot meal is surely a rewarding experience.
make sure to clean the blood off your keyboard. =/

Heh, welcome to Africa; we could use a PETH, as in "People for the Ethical Treatment of Humans" before PETA can safely set foot on this continent.
Mmm sheep..
I like 'em rare. Tender and juicy
Medium well is where it's at.
Sounds like fun, the closest I've ever got to slaughter is having to gut deer and fish with my uncle. It's nasty at first but you get used to it.
