I used to really want a cat. When I was about 11 or 12 my maid found an abandoned kitten, maybe a couple days old, struggling in our yard, so we took it in and kept it. Then I find out I'm allergic to cats and the cat decides to use this to her advantage and torture me for the next five or so years. Up to around when I was ten years old I always had big Christmas lists. Unfortunately my parents didn't make a lot of money so I never got a lot of the stuff. I learned that toys and material possessions aren't everything. When my parents started making more money my Christmas lists usually only had two or three things. Now its usually just one.
