[QUOTE=CarlBooth;29987537]Just let it go. Nobody cares about your warez ban.[/QUOTE] jeez sorry for asking a question about the forums
[QUOTE=TehWhale;29991576]Garry could solve all the bitching about img_thumb and media tags by just adding this to fp.css .content img { max-width:97%; } All images would then fit on the page, and be based on the users browser resolution, and would still maintain the aspect ratio. If they wanted to view the image they could just right-click it, Open Image in new tab[/QUOTE] Any way someone could work this into a plugin?
[QUOTE=Funny;29993739]Any way someone could work this into a plugin?[/QUOTE]A plugin? Or are you referring to an extension/add-on?
[QUOTE=TehWhale;29987174]People actually use OnLive?[/QUOTE] I use it when my PC is being a dick and laggs the fuck out of my games. Like yesterday.

What's with the large number of accounts joining? Most of them are spam bots but aren't being marked.

hats are serious business
[QUOTE=TehWhale;29993817]A plugin? Or are you referring to an extension/add-on?[/QUOTE] Greasemonkey script.
Any update on adding 500px and/or OnLive to account icons? In addition, is there going to be an update to the Steam account icon so it looks more like the current one? [editline]23rd May 2011[/editline] [url=http://www.facepunch.com/fp/browser/steam.png]Never mind, you took care of the steam icon already.[/url]
No use supporting OnLive; bandwidth caps are killing their service in the States and they'll never manage to expand to Europe. No use adding a feature to support something that's going to die in the near future.
The uh, ghost page thing is back.. I'm not sure if it ever left actually..
No it never did
-snip-
What is the situation with the ghost pages? IIRC you know roughly what's causing it, but it's low priority. Right? It would be nice to have it fixed, but I'm not going to lose sleep over it.

-snip-, nevermind

[QUOTE=compwhizii;30004387]You'd force mobile browsers to scale down large images which would eat CPU like mad on pages with large images[/QUOTE] Large images already kill Mobile Safari for me, no great loss.
[QUOTE=compwhizii;30004387]You'd force mobile browsers to scale down large images which would eat CPU like mad on pages with large images[/QUOTE] You know what would be a solution that would work on mobile devices and desktop browsers? You could have a box where if you clicked it, it would display the image.
[QUOTE=Jelly;30004450]You know what would be a solution that would work on mobile devices and desktop browsers? You could have a box where if you clicked it, it would display the image.[/QUOTE] Genius
honestly, the removal of support for [img] tags inside [media] tags wasn't a very good idea. especially in dmt.
[QUOTE=Jelly;30004450]You know what would be a solution that would work on mobile devices and desktop browsers? You could have a box where if you clicked it, it would display the image.[/QUOTE] Just deal with it.
[QUOTE=compwhizii;30004387]You'd force mobile browsers to scale down large images which would eat CPU like mad on pages with large images[/QUOTE] Then just use @media and if statements.
[QUOTE=Skunky;30004543]Just deal with it.[/QUOTE] What's the point when the solution was there but was removed for no reason? It's like removing a lane on a highway for no reason and when people ask why they did it as it's causing traffic jams they just say, "DEAL WIF IT".

[QUOTE=Skunky;30004644]You forget who's in charge here.[/QUOTE] You forget that we can have an opinion.
Everybody knows that Facepunch is a democracy. One man, one vote. Garry is the man and he has the vote.
