Oh nice, browser icons. Looking forward to browser elitism.
It's back, and holy cow you can now see what browser people are using.

This is awesome. [editline]17th May 2011[/editline] Chrome master race
I think it's kinda stupid to have all information available public, it should only tell you if they are on mobile (AKA the browser)
...I think they just disappeared again.
Yep, gone again.
I think it's kinda stupid to have all information available public, it should only tell you if they are on mobile (AKA the browser)
Ok I'll hide it. If anyone liked the feature then blame SEKCobra because he ruined it for you.
There seems to be no setting to disable it either.

Thanks for fixing the popular threads
There seems to be no setting to disable it either.
No setting OR reason
Fun Fact: The icons had been removed before SEKCobra posted.
Ok I'll hide it. If anyone liked the feature then blame SEKCobra because he ruined it for you.
Next time remove it after I said it, ok?
It would be fine if you just had a setting to hide it. I'm also confused usually you are just like "Deal with it or leave."... This time you didn't argue, you just did what he said, I find that weird.
Garry i think you missed my other post.
So yeah Boss man are you going to be using my thread icon? [img_thumb]http://i.imgur.com/WJaRh.jpg[/img_thumb] I spent hours making it for you.
(User was banned for this post ("die in a fire" - garry))
I liked the browser icons
Next time remove it after I said it, ok?
I thought is was cool and you ruined it.
I thought is was cool and you ruined it.
QFT
Apparently it could 'reveal an exploit' users have. You could as easily write a script to parse the regiban list and port-scan people to find exploits too..
Garry i think you missed my other post. (User was banned for this post ("die in a fire" - garry))
I'm sorry but I laughed really hard at that ban haha
Apparently it could 'reveal an exploit' users have. You could as easily write a script to parse the regiban list and port-scan people to find exploits too..
Die in a fire, please.
Kill SEKCobra, re-enable browser icons.
Die in a fire, please.

17:48 - Overv: garry says it's because people could know when someone has a browser version with an exploit
http://www.facepunch.com/fp_events.php?type=regi http://nmap.org/ Die in a fire, please.
The new icons look really good.
http://www.facepunch.com/fp_events.php?type=regi http://nmap.org/ Die in a fire, please.
Guess we found out who the leak is
Ok I'll hide it. If anyone liked the feature then blame SEKCobra because he ruined it for you.
Enable it again, but only if the user is using IE
Give all identifying information on anyone who uses IE6.
Guess we found out who the leak is
What leak? Nothing there is harmful information at all.
If with leak he means the regi-ban link, daiji linked that in a certain camp.
