based on the context i thought it might make it seem like i was agreeing with "dont like guns with hoses"
The loss of realism for a DG's hose coming out of the grip is quickly overshadowed by it's awesome recoil. A polarstar on the other hand is just press x to win spray anything and everything.

Except a P* doesn't magically make you a better airsoft player. You're acting like the rental kiddie who complains about every other gun being better than their own.
how good a player is is determined by his skill not his kit etc
I don't like the idea of a gun being attached to me because of the tank. I'd rather have something I can quickly set down mid-game.
They usually have a QD hose which takes like .5 seconds to disconnect.
I don't like some people who use polar stars because Florida airsoft = let's use the 550 fps nozzle and crank up the rps. I dont understand wanting such a high fps whether it be a p* or whatever. I don't want to hurt people when I shoot them :((
why do we like sun projects again?
Sun Project is my secret dirty love that I'll never have because she's too good for me.
how good a player is is determined by his skill not his kit etc
Well, there's some part of your kit that matters. If you're not familiar or proficient with your gun you probably wont be able to use it as well. Like, for me, I can dominate with my trishot because I know what I'm doing and play really aggressive, whereas if you gave me a bolt gun I wouldn't be nearly as effective since I'm not as well acquainted with the lack of firepower. Get what I'm sayan?
I don't mind hoses coming out of guns, but the main issue for me with it is that you can't ditch you gun. On numerous occasions I've put down my gun and even some gear to make a bigass sprint to medic someone or cap an objective. I definitely wouldn't mind a support gun with P* innards, as the incredible range and rate of fire would make an unmatched LMG that would put 249s to shame.

seriously, I find it incredible that some shops in taiwan still stock them. i wonder how easy it is to bring one through customs compared to a gbbr

I would think it would be fairly easy. The innards are more like a P* than a GBBR
The M416 from BFBC2 with its M203 looks beefy and cool

If I had the money, I would take a VFC 416+*insert brand name here* M203+LE stock=this.
*WE 4168
*WE 4168
Or a TM 416 Recoil Shock.
My main point was since you have an LE stock, you'll need either a GBB, PEQ, or tube lipo, GBB being the obvious choice here

Can you DG a 416?
you need a WA body 416
Can somebody explain to me what a Sun Project is?

Classic Airsoft gun, gas operated, and I think they're the ones that operate on the odd bellows system. They use external air, and are more similar to a polarstar than a gbbr

I thought the odd bellows system was from AEG gearboxes made by TOP.

Yeah, you're right. I forgot which of the more obscure companies did that.
They're like a P* but they have a recoiling bolt
Owner of my local field has one made from mostly real steal AK-74 parts, its so fucking nice and heavy and the recoil makes me wet.
polarstars aren't fun to shoot because there's no recoil that you'd get out of a GBBR or something of that nature. A Sun Project, on the other hand, kicks.
A Polarstar is like an AEG that isn't battery operated. It's not not fun, its just not as cool as a GBB.
i think that using a polarstar might be fun because your gun doesnt really get in the way of stuff, lets say normally you cant shoot someone because they are too far, or your gun locks up on semi/doesnt cycle fast enough. a polarstar could fix these problems for some people, and that might let them have more fun
P*'s are kind of like German Businessmen. They do very good work and you'd definitely like at least one, but there's not as much fun involved as hiring an insane old man to do the same job.
