Have they announced a system like that
They mention a crate system on the official website, but no mention that you have the option to spend real money on them. I wouldn't be surprised if there was though.
This looks like my dream game. I really love how the flying seems a hundred times more fluid than in the last game. Hell, everything does. No more auto lock-on! And thank fucking god for free DLC! Speaking of DLC. The original BF2 DID have DLC on xbox. Two new heroes and a few maps from the first game. Does that mean we automatically have to hate that game as well?
Vehicles are still power ups so it has the exact same problem as the first one. At least it's pretty
Better graphics and technology comes with harder work making games.
I'm not denying that, I just wish we didn't need cutting-edge photorealistic graphics at the detriment of gameplay development all the time.
I'm not denying that, I just wish we didn't need cutting-edge photorealistic graphics at the detriment of gameplay development all the time.
no one said anything about that, though. those graphics are what people expect, if you just did a rerelease of the games with barely any better graphics (which would take a lot less time) it wouldn't sell for shit.
Vehicles are still power ups so it has the exact same problem as the first one. At least it's pretty
Vehicles aren't power ups though. It's a point system like the original battlefront 2
Vehicles aren't power ups though. It's a point system like the original battlefront 2
I could jump into any vehicle I see in battlefront 2 and I can't do that in this
Vehicles aren't power ups though. It's a point system like the original battlefront 2
Err, what? In BF2 vehicles were parked on the map.
Ah, I felt like I remembered special classes and vehicles being points in the original. Guess it was only special classes
I could jump into any vehicle I see in battlefront 2 and I can't do that in this
At least people can't camp the spawn point now.
Why do the droids sound so shit
Why do the droids sound so shit
Same voice actor from Episodes 1-3 and Clone Wars.
I could jump into any vehicle I see in battlefront 2 and I can't do that in this
Having them on the battlefield causes the same problems that power ups have don't they? People basically have to camp the vehicle spawns if they ever want to use one. I'd say its an even worse solution than power ups actually because with power ups at least you have to go out into the battlefield to get them. I remember the old days in Battlefield 2. I hardly ever got to use the jets because there would always be multiple people at the hangar just doing nothing. I simply didn't even bother. Sure, now in Battlefront 2 and the newer Battlefield games you can still camp at the spawn screen but at least its more convenient and it doesn't feel as annoying if you don't get it.
Same voice actor from Episodes 1-3 and Clone Wars.
not the same processing
not the same processing
Episode 3 and Clone Wars LucasFilm changed how they talked. Probably George's idea. The Clone Wars TV series Droids are more iconic these days among fans, probably the same reason why they have Dee Bradley Baker voicing the clones instead of Morrison.

If you do good, you'll be able to get a powerful vehicle/character/hero before every one else. After you've spent your points, the next person in line with a lot of points gets one. Heroes also seems to die rather quickly if you're not careful so that's also a factor.
Yeah points don't vanish after death, so you keep them until you spend them You can't earn points as a hero. You can still earn points while in vehicles or playing as one of the special characters
This makes me want to play Battlefront. It's on sale now, anyone know how many people play?
This makes me want to play Battlefront. It's on sale now, anyone know how many people play?
I think EA Access is free for the week so you can just play Battlefront for free right now.
I hope they implement vehicles like the classic Battlefronts, where you could enter/exit them (or at least a "classic" game mode where vehicles are parked)
I hope they implement vehicles like the classic Battlefronts, where you could enter/exit them (or at least a "classic" game mode where vehicles are parked)
They didn't. Vehicles are a spawn option in the menu. You need to earn points by playing in the match to spend to spawn in one. Same with heroes You get points for everything, doing objective, damaging enemies, helping team mates
The clones not being voiced by Temuera Morrison is disappointing. The rest of it looks/sounds pretty sweet though.
Why do the droids sound so shit
They probably just did that because it's canon now. RIP actually robotic sounding voices
Canon now? These voices and their kind have been canon since 2005 with Episode 3.
gameplay montage without commentary
that palace interior map looks really fucking bad, like an even worse version of battlefields metro
gameplay montage without commentary
I cant wait to play as minigun battledroid [editline]11th June 2017[/editline]
Good thing Disney isn't doing anything and it is all the heads of LucasFilm.
disney has changed the deal with numerous companies - they demanded a higher cut from toys for one, which is why things like lego starwars are 10% pricier now. [editline]11th June 2017[/editline]
Why do the droids sound so shit
sucks, I was hoping the droid commander voice would be the standard. [editline]11th June 2017[/editline]
Canon now? These voices and their kind have been canon since 2005 with Episode 3.
ep1-ep3 voices ranged from meh to good but clone wars/rebels made it overboard shitty

It will also help you tell the difference between Jango/Boba and the clones
sucks, I was hoping the droid commander voice would be the standard. ep1-ep3 voices ranged from meh to good but clone wars/rebels made it overboard shitty
ep3 is what ruined them. It's like George Lucas was determined to find a new way to put jar jar binks level comedy in star wars. Seriously when did this: Become hotter than this!?
