This isn't a fucking revolution, it's a bunch of fucks who think they're entitled to things when they aren't.
I think we all are entitled to having a system that isn't broken in favor of those who hold all the chips. It's not very fair being born in a country that idolizes freedom and the American Dream, but then that dream isn't even achievable for a large chunk of the population.
Your parents probably pampered you as a child, but we can't all have it so easy. Some people struggle to make ends meet, working second, or even third jobs to support themselves and their families in a time, and in an economy that threatens to take that job away from them. Corporations are reporting massive profits for those at the top, while the lowly worker in the factory has no shot at making it to the corner office.
Students are taking thousands of dollars in student loans to fund a degree that they are going to be fighting for a chance to use. Many spend the first years out of college working part time jobs while trying to find a career to pay back their loans.
Times are fucking tough, and the top earners don't give a shit, because they are immune. This is fucking America, we tout ourselves as the caring nation, we always throw aid to countries in need during tough times and natural disasters, but when our own citizens cry out for help we call them socialists and tell them to go fuck themselves.
We aren't a bunch of fucks who think we're entitled to something we really aren't. We're fucking Americans, and we are entitled to a chance to pursue happiness, make the most of our lives, and put food on the table at the end of the day.
Explain to me how our rights play a role in this movement. Please.
[editline]19th October 2011[/editline]
We have a right to protest, but aside from that what the fuck else do they have to do with anything involving this?
Fuck I mean, rights are completely irrelevant to any of this. Are you just saying shit to sound creditable?

Money out of politics? Oh my god that's hilarious. Do you have ANY clue, at all, how a campaign works? How much money it requires to run one?
Yeah it's shitty, but 'money out of politics' is fucking asinine.
[editline]19th October 2011[/editline]
Holy fuck, I never get mad on the internet but I mean the blatant ignorance of the people who back this thing just leaves me awestruck.

"We have a right to protest, but aside from that what the fuck else do they have to do with anything involving this?"
Read what I say before you counter it.
[editline]19th October 2011[/editline]
Everyone wants to feel like a bleeding-heart martyr. I stand behind the core values of what this movement is about, but not the mindset of the people who back it. I'm going to go to work now so they can take away a portion of the money I earned to pay for everyone's healthcare. But that's how it should be, right? People who earn money are evil and need to give it back to people who don't.
the right to freedom of speech, protest, the right to be heard by the government, including the right to rebel against the government if things go sour, which it is.

I want you to watch every single one of these videos very carefully. You might learn something rather than being so ignorant. Its people like YOU who are shitting on America, people who ignorantly believe that they can just shit sunshine and daisies and everything is perfectly fine.
Well its not, you can't simply ignore that, otherwise the issue is going to fester and scar, more and more, if you don't do anything, it'll get infected, and only get even worse. If this wound America gets infected, and if people decided to act that time, it'd be chaotic.
[editline]19th October 2011[/editline]
and don't even go with that shit about people not having the right to do this
they have the right to overthrow the government if it is shown as broken.

A true American understands that its their right to rebel and do anything they possibly can to stop the government from taking a big, fat load on their heads. If you don't believe this is your right, you need to leave the country.
The government isn't here to be a corporation like it is now, its there for the people and by the people. If its not doing this, then it needs to be stopped and fixed immediately. Even if it takes a bloody civil war, the American way is to live free and die defending that, thats the way the founding fathers wanted it, thats the way I want it to stay.
Also, I just love how the man in the OP's video is acting. A very honest American.

To add on, and to add to my own argument for some good weight in it.
"we are entitled to a chance to pursue happiness, make the most of our lives, and put food on the table at the end of the day."
We must defend this right, at all costs.

not like I'm going to go around shooting republicans
there's one thing I've wondered - assuming there's a successful revolution and politicians can't be bought off - what then?
how would the Occupy Administration be different from the current state of affairs?
(I'm not being sarcastic or rhetorical I genuinely want to know)

Keep many things the way they are, only with huge changes, and make sure the shit never happens again, ever.
This might just be me being an uneducated idiot but I feel Obama is basically curling up in a ball and hoping it all goes away rather than do something
I still haven't heard anyone come up with a solution.
