You don't need a drivers license for a passport...
I already had a passport before I was 18. My Dad works for United Airlines, you see... And I'll say it again, I do have an apartment I've been staying at for the past 2 months but I came back home for the holidays.
Good luck getting a woman without a car at the age of 22 [editline]09:55PM[/editline] Loser*
He has rape and mutilation fantasies so maybe that's for the best. I have a total phobia for driving and I'm fucking horrible at driving manual. Luckily I have a bike permit though so I can't put it off for a little longer.
I do have an apartment I've been staying in, but I came home for the Winter Break. And as I said before, I usually take public transportation everywhere I need to go. Also, yes, Genshiken is a club for the Art Institute.
But of course it's a total fucking farce of a club because you've never even heard of any good shit.
I have a total phobia for driving and I'm fucking horrible at driving manual.
This would be a plausible reason.
I have a total phobia for driving and I'm fucking horrible at driving manual. Luckily I have a bike permit though so I can't put it off for a little longer.
Wait, driving scares you but bike riding is A-OK?
Wait, driving scares you but bike riding is A-OK?
Yeah I guess. It's still kind of intimidating at first but I think that's just down to lack of experience and everyone gets that.
But of course it's a total fucking farce of a club because you've never even heard of any good shit.
"Baccano". They showed off "Baccano" and apperentley it's a pretty awesome show. It's got a rather unique setting for an anime: New York in the 1930's. Mafia and gangsters in spiffy suits running around, and an incredibly complex story seen from multiple angles and occurring across three different events. We saw the first episode during one of the meetings and I'm keen on seeing the rest.

Good show, the editing is a bit quick in my opinion. Somewhat disorienting.
how does the drivers lisence system work in america?
how does the drivers lisence system work in america?
You can get a permit at 18, and later get a license or something like that, i don't remember, it's been a few years since I had to look up this crap. Oh, and something about being 21 years old being important because of drunk driving or some crap like that.
OP: Opt for the motorcycle course, 15k less than a car. [editline]11:20PM[/editline] You can die though.
You don't need a car to get a drivers license, it's pretty pointless if you don't want a car, but it's still there incase you need it.
Get over it, and take the test. For god's sake, I'm 14 and mad at myself for not taking the test yet!
Get over it, and take the test. For god's sake, I'm 14 and mad at myself for not taking the test yet!
Are you from a different country or something? Because if I remember correctly in the US you have to be 16 to take the test.
Are you from a different country or something? Because if I remember correctly in the US you have to be 16 to take the test.
He was trying to emphasize how much he wanted to take the test. Learn to human conversation.
wow im 17 i wish someone would force me to learn how to drive my parents wont take me out and i need a licensed driver in the car so stop whinning and consider yourself lucky
Are you from a different country or something? Because if I remember correctly in the US you have to be 16 to take the test.
I have to be 15 to take it. Texas.
Are you from a different country or something? Because if I remember correctly in the US you have to be 16 to take the test.
Depends on the state you're talking about.
You're confusing "want" and "need" with "Fear of driving".
So let me understand this, Your 22 You do NOT have your license You failed the test 3 times And you live with your parents And your 22. This story is even worse than the "i cant have sex right" thread
You're confusing "want" and "need" with "Fear of driving".
I'm not afraid, not really, I just don't feel like learning how to drive. It's not like I absolutely need to know in order to live or anything. Knowing how to drive would be terribly convenient, of course, but so would a million dollars.
So let me understand this, Your 22 You do NOT have your license You failed the test 3 times And you live with your parents And your 22.
how does the drivers lisence system work in america?
Well in my state Illinois, at age 15 you can get your permit. Then after over 50 hours of logged driving (You do it yourself so you can simply fake it really) and having kept the permit for at least 9 months you may apply for your driver's license, which involves taking a driving test.
OP you live in California. Not China, NYC, or India. You need a car. You're probably a virgin too because you can't take dates out anywhere unless you like waiting an hour for LOLbus. Be a man and learn how to drive.

Quite frankly, if you are 22 and failed the written portion twice, maybe you are better off without a license. There are enough shitty drivers as it is. Sorry if it sounds mean, but I'm being honest. And for the sake of argument let's say that you are not a terrible driver. Get. Your. License. It is not some overly difficult challenge. Written portion: Green means go. Red means stop. Yellow, contrary to popular belief, does NOT mean to go faster in order to beat the red light. Learn what the different signs on the road mean. Done. Driving test: ... Just fucking drive and follow directions.
Knowing how to drive would be terribly convenient, of course, but so would a million dollars.
Christ. Guess what sunshine? A million dollars is not as easy to come by as a license. Stop being lazy, scared, or intimidated.
If you're 22, live under your parents' roof, can't pass a written test to drive, and whine about it on Facepunch... Just... Nevermind.
I'm not afraid, not really, I just don't feel like learning how to drive. It's not like I absolutely need to know in order to live or anything. Once again, how does this make sense if they're threatening to kick you out of the house?
Green means go. Red means stop. Yellow, contrary to popular belief, does NOT mean to go faster in order to beat the red light. Learn what the different signs on the road mean. Done..
Dude, there's a billion other things on that test other then that. Like random junk about giant trucks and roads that go three ways, etc.
