This visual novel is actually really cool because it legitimately teaches you a lot about Japan's culture. The girls are great too.

This reminds me of a story a friend of mine told me. He knew a guy who went to live in Japan who was a huge weaboo and knew the Japanese language pretty well. Somehow he hooked up with a girl who was also a massive otaku. They were getting pretty serious, until she told him she was actually Chinese who lived in Japan since she was really young. 'Lo and fucking behold they mysteriously broke up after that, and the weaboo went on to make some very racist remarks about Asian immigrants in Japan. As an Australian immigrant. I don't quite believe my friend since this seems like a lot was taken out of context, and I've never actually met the guy, but it would not surprise me in the least if it was true.

Well, to be fair if you go to another country women usually notice you so the chances of you hooking up is higher. People usually find people from other countries interesting.

I'm in Japan I get a lot of stares. I'm fairly attractive and I have a Japanese girlfriend here but I like to imagine most of the stares are just because I'm a white dude living in Japan because old men and old women stare at me too.
