simply downing an entire bottle of vodka makes for a more entertaining drinking game because you're guaranteed to drink at least that if that's the kind of game you wanna play on these kinds of shows
Once I went to a fancy restaurant and all I got was a damp cocktail napkin with a piece of lint on it, $681
fancy restaurants are such bs
Then you had a shit experience at a fancy restaurant.
It depends on what you would call a fancy restaurant. I've had the great opportunity to work with some really amazing chefs, and most of the time, you are paying that high of a price because its not just the food, but the place, the service, the cutlery and etc.
The money goes into the hours of work all the chefs put into the fancy ingredients, and it takes a whole fucking day to cook that plate of food that comes out of the kitchen. Chefs start mis en place in the morning, and till service, and then they cook the food and it goes to your table. Plus, you are not just getting food, but an art piece. That plate of food you eat should represent the chef's philosophy.
I had the opportunity to dine in at fine dining places in Japan and Europe, and I must say, those were some of my best experiences. It really depends on what you eat, and where you eat.
If you pay for some dish that cost you $60 and only had 2 stars on tripadvisor, then its your fault really.
I'm not saying that michelin stars meant you definitely get fucking amazing food, but to chefs, to even attain michelin stars meant your food can be trusted, and you worked your ass off for it. So the price makes sense, and you most likely will have a good time.

Sounds like a fuckin fire alarm.
Which wouldn't really be out of place in half of those restaurants.

Might as well just kill yourself instantly, you're not going to survive that drinking game.
