The official questions Thread v. NOT ANOTHER AR!!!11ONEONE!!!

Doesn't work like that. The retailers outside of the UK know about UKARA liscenses and will ask for your UKARA number. Just deal with the Two-tone, at least it isn't ilegal.
UKARA isn't a legal firm, so they cant force anyone to have two tone. Most retailers within the UK will go with UKARA, but there may be some who don't give a rats ass about UKARA outside the UK and within.

So find a retailer who doesn't care about UKARA, thats the loophole.
Yo dudes, I'm about to buy that MP40 (for lods of emone), and I have some basic equipment (an old Bundeswehr Uniform, and some Vest I got for 10€ :buddy:). So..yeah, how would I best begin? I don't mean having some airsoft battle in a forest with some friends or something. Do I need to find a team? Or can I simply go to some field/facility to play with some random dudes? I just want to try it out, before I decide to buy more stuff
I hope I'm not annoying :smith:
[sp]Oh yeah, I also bought that MP40 for my collection of WW1 & 2 stuff[/sp]

I'd go to a field and see how you like it. You get more of an experience playing with other people, rather than friends.
I started by going to a local field and playing skirmishes. Usually they'll just form teams for the match with the people that show up for the skirmish.
It's not wrong to ask how to start. You don't come off as annoying to me.
Thanks guys :buddy:
Now, I only have to find a field..
You don't happen to have a website with airsoft fields in Germany, do you?
[editline]11th April 2011[/editline]
It's really hard to find them here
[editline]11th April 2011[/editline]
Like, really
[editline]11th April 2011[/editline]
After some reserache, I came to the conclusion that it's almost impossible to play it here.
Well, guess that's it.
:smith:
Ouch :smith: I feel for you. You definitely sure there's nowhere you can play?
germany is really fucked up in terms of paintball/airsoft..
Yeah, there are like 5 fields, and you have to rent them with a group. Sucks big time
[editline]11th April 2011[/editline]

You could see if you can find a German airsoft forum or something and ask around there for airsoft teams in your area.
I'm sure there's a German airsoft club or something, that probably regularly hosts events.
Anyone interested in a TM Hi-Capa? TacticalHijack is selling his iirc.
It's currently being sold to GunMage at ASF.
I'll let you people know if the deal doesn't go through.
Thanks MilkandCookies
Replicas over 0.5 Joule must be fired only in semiauto in Germany, you must be 18 or older to buy one.
Fun fact :
Target illuminating devices and lasers may not be attached to guns but are legal otherwise, possession of a flashlight is allowed, even shooting with the flashlight in one hand and the gun in the other, but attaching it via mount ring to the rail system of a gun is not! lol
So I'm going to get the Condor Commando chest rig, some King Arms mags for my M4, but I don't know if I should get the WE 1911 or the WE M9. Which one?

If you want an M9 go KJW, but if you want a 1911 go with WE.
Well, whichever I get, where could I get some silicone oil?

There's not a whole lot if difference in silicone oil.
That's what I thought so I got some silicone oil from my local hardware store.
Is that bad?

It's usually not 100% silicone, read the label.

dont do it bro
[QUOTE=venom;28729599]I really, really doubt it will. Most hardware-bought silicone-based lubricants aren't pure silicone, and have petroleum-based distillates or some other hydrocarbons mixed in, (such as hexane, butane, propane, etc.) which might be safe for some rubbers and plastics, but still could do harm to your internals.
Although it [I]might[/I] work, it's better to be 100% sure and buy pure silicone lubricants or specifically labeled airsoft lubricant.[/QUOTE]
i wouldnt risk it
