Pretty well I'd say. I left it outside in a storm for a day, buried it for a day, dragged it around, and lit it on fire.
Oh god hnnggggggngnh I was going to get a combat machine but now I think I gotta go red.
Anyone know how to weather a black bakelight? I got the gun weather pretty decently but i held back a little cus i didn't want to overdo it.
If you're talking about plum mags ( which I would assume you are) i would take steel wool or a lite grit sandsponge and rub the crap out of it but don't over do it.
No I'm talking straight black, I already put blue painters tape on the mag but I can always take it off and redo it.
Go for it, just don't overdo it.
Is this a reliable gun? It seems to be. It appeals to me in basically every way, but I just need to know if its internals are really fragile or something
Codemonkey has one iirc, from what I've heard it's ok.
How the fuck is it going to explode on you? If you're putting out the fire, it's not going to detonate. You'll be fine. Just don't be stupid when you're using it.
If you spray foam on an electrical fire you make it worse, I have no idea how CO2 or water works with a chemical or otherwise based fire associated with smoke grenades.
Since CO2 is heavier than air, it sinks onto the fire and displaces the oxygen. Fires need oxygen to burn. [editline]17th April 2011[/editline] So long as the chemical doesn't have an oxidizer, it should work fine.

My dad was a firefighter. So yeah, like I've said before, you'll be fine.
How much do the airsoft sites near you charge for a day? The nearest near me charges £20 for a full day (9am - 4pm) and £10 for mask and gun hire so its bloody expensive - also its £10 for a bag of 5000 .20 bbs if you buy at site.
£20 walk on fee including lunch, £25 for hire + 2000 bbs.
25$ to play, 5$ for 1000 .2 BBs. Play as long as you like.
$5 for all day. The CQB field in the city is $20 for an hour. It's a scam.
Okay, just got my new gun, I need a charger, I have a large battery so I'm getting one of the dual connection ones, now, is it worth getting a charger with a discharger? Because they cost more. Also, it's an M4 with a fixed stock, and the sling attachment thing has snapped off, is there any way I could still use a sling?
$15 for a day :D
$16 for a day, and if you come back Sunday it's free. Rentals are probably $20 or something alone those lines.
Free for a day here. Ops are usually $20 and that sometimes includes food.
30bux for all day +5bux for lunch at cqbcity :sigh:

Okay, someone suggested I should not buy a sniper. In a way I agree with the statement. After all, the only reason I was drawn to paintball and then Airsoft was the adrenalin rush of being in the centre of a firefight. So instead of buying a Dragunov I was thinking of buying a M15A4, this one to be precise: http://www.fire-support.co.uk/product/classic-army-sportline-vp-m15a4-tactical-carbine As well as that, I was considering purchasing a scope for said M15. This one: http://www.fire-support.co.uk/product/classic-army-1-x-30-rifle-scope-with-flip-up-cover Should I? I understand it is mostly plastic and the site doesn't provide too many details, so your opinons please? Also, I'm thinking of getting a secondary weapon too. I'm not sure whether a pistol or a cheap shotgun would fit the bill. I've narrowed the pistols down to three and haven't found any shotguns that I like the look of. http://www.fire-support.co.uk/product/kwa-umarex-usp-45-match-gas-blowback-pistol http://www.fire-support.co.uk/product/marui-python-6-inch-stainless- http://www.fire-support.co.uk/product/marui-hicapa-xtreme--full-auto Opinons? I appreciate all the help given so far, I'm a massive noob when it comes to Airsoft.

I appreciate all the help given so far, I'm a massive noob when it comes to Airsoft.
CA's Sportline series (especially the plastic-body ones) are not great. They're the kind that get mass-produced and marketed to sporting goods stores. Best, cheapest, most reliable beginner AEG: http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.php?products_id=4587 Best place for optics: http://www.dealextreme.com/c/gun-mounts-lasers-accessories-914?page=1&pagesize=52&pagesort=popularity Overseas. Free shipping on everything. You don't need a secondary weapon. If you're really going to spend that much on a secondary, just scrap it and spend more on a solid primary AEG. Tokyo Marui pistols are generally collector's items that should be respected but not fielded without lots of upgrading.
Airsoft GI ships only to the United States (excluding U.S. territories and APO/FPO addresses) and Canada. [editline]18th April 2011[/editline] After looking around, it's between these two guns and I'm fairly certain of the scope. http://www.fire-support.co.uk/product/classic-army-airsoftrifle-aeg-m15a4-spr Or http://www.fire-support.co.uk/product/classic-army-m15a4-cqb and http://www.dealextreme.com/p/aluminum-alloy-laser-sight-rifle-scope-with-gun-mount-red-green-laser-configurable-32481 My local field does alot of both CQB and the airsoft equivalent of "woodsball".

But you might want to refine your AEG choice - even if either of those were in stock, Classic Army is not a fantastic starting choice. Their higher-level expensive guns are wonderful, but the "sportline" guns aren't very high quality. Airsoft GI is still an excellent resource as a bank of reviews on various guns. Try something from G&G, or (if you're feeling cheap), a Chinese company like JG.
$15 a day, $2 lunch, $1 drank, $12 bbs.
I'll wait, that way I can make more monies and get everything else in order.
Okay. Like I said, I should have it within the week. Sometime between Wednesday and Friday.
