Yeah, the only reason I'm doing this is because I don't want a PEQ box. Also, are there just wire extensions so I can avoid soldering?
I'm not sure where you'd find them, but I have bought them from a local store that closed before, so they're out there somewhere. Have little plastic pieces to connect the ends, but I'd recommend soldering and heat wrapping anyway, it's cheap and easy once you get the hang of it. Either that or find a local or send it to someone to do the work for you. Where I live there's a person who does all kinds of gun repair for $30, you might have something similar.
Wire extensions that have actual connectors on both ends won't work for buffer tube batteries, not enough room back there. Even for a crane stock setup I could see it being difficult.
Also, do you have a lipo compatible buffer tube yet?

There is a Madbull one that I am probably going to buy tomorrow. I am also going to get a 7.4 lipo to go with my gun (King Arms M4). Will I have any problems with that sort of battery? What kind of plug do I need?

As for the re-wiring, I am going to ask a friend to do it since he has a lot more experience.
Will this hopup:

Work on this gun:

The piece of shit hop up that was in it now snapped in half while I was trying to re-align it because it wouldn't shoot anything.

Should work, but you may have to do some modification to the back of the lower receiver tube where the buffer tube slides onto. Usually you have to cut it down to make more room for the battery. Hopefully Madbull will include instructions on how far to cut it down.
As for the battery, it's using a deans connector, generally regarded as a much better connector than the older tamiya connector that most guns have. Rewiring to deans is fairly simply, you just solder and heat shrink the wires to the new connector. Tamiya connectors require you to crimp pins to the wires then insert them into the connector.

Yes
Looks ugly in my opinion though, even though I've done it that way before. Though either way your battery size is pretty much limited to lipos ranging from 900-1200mAh, unless you go the crane stock route, which I'm not a fan of either.
Pretty much the main reason why I don't want to make a C7a2
Also, green elcan :smith:

With a C7A2 you could put a battery in the handguard though seeing as it is just a standard M16 handguard.
Am I the only one who feels the intense urge to go and start a revolution the second they put on Russian gear? It must be the communism dust.

Handguard batteries are a pain in the ass
I wish there was a "Kinda" rating.
I can approve of this.
Sweet, as long as you approve Kawaii, that's all I need. :buddy:
How is the WE High-Power? I know someone here has one. How is the recoil? Gas consumption? If it has a small recoil, is it possible to put in a stronger recoil spring to increase the kick?

Its great but it has no hop-up, so its not actually that useful.
Would I be better off with the WE 1911?
Probably, I love mine. I'm just unsure of how well the hop-up works.
How well can I upgrade my gun with $90? Or should I not bother?

Wait, did you actually get that?
Wait, did you actually get that?
Yeah why?
Yeah why?
Did you ever figure out who made it?
Did you ever figure out who made it?
Yeah its made by AIM TOP. Not bad really, besides the hop up that I'm replacing.

I don't think AIM is a company. I think it's one of the fake brands Evike gives everything along with Matrix.

On this inside its stamped with AIM TOP, I can get you a picture if you want.
Isn't AIM TOP the same company that made the shell-ejecting M4 AEG?
[editline]23rd April 2011[/editline]
Yes, they are.

TOP doesn't make AEG M4s. And that's TOP, not AIM TOP.
Is uncompany an ok site to order parts from? Has anyone ever ordered from them?
EDIT: also what about RSOV?
Yeah they're fine afaik.

Nope, I remember seeing AIM TOP guns when I first started playing airsoft.

Pretty sure Weapon Blender sells AIM M4's too...
Anyone know what type of connector this battery has? Trying to find one to fit it but I don't know the type.

I think it's called a Hi-Tec connector. Popular among R/C cars and such.
