I would addict all over it.
Wait, if 100% of the CO2 is used on recoil, what powers the shot? Is it an AEG with CO2 recoil?
It's really just a recoil machine. Throwing bbs at people is more efficient.
Are Wiley-X SG1s good? I want something as low-profile as glasses but retaining the same protection as goggles and the SG1s seem to fit that perfectly. Where can I pick these up new for cheap? Also are there any good glasses besides SG1s? Some glasses I've tried leave a huge gaping gap between my face and the glasses at the bottom, big enough where a BB can hit my cheek bone and refract into my eye.
I'd rather have an efficient airsoft gun rather than an airsoft gun with annoying recoil.
I <3 Bullpup. Seriously, there's really not a more versitile system that I can think of.
Just take an AR receiver and you could buy parts for it to fulfill any role you want it to be. That's versatility.
So I've never used Airsoft before, and don't plan on getting deeply into it. But I would like a fairly cheap (<$80 (USD)) rifle for just general target practice (no skirmishes, or anything like that - just shooting some cans and bottles). Suggestions? I live in New England, for the record. Also, sorry if this sort of thing is asked a million times a day and the same answer is given every time. Thanks. Oh, and anything special I should know? I know the obvious stuff (finger off the trigger, don't overcharge..), but anything that you wouldn't expect a newbie to know?
If you want a cheap rifle just for shooting cans, you can't go wrong with a spring sniper rifle. Unless you want an AEG of course.
Would this be any good? http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.php?cPath=139_113&products_id=1898
If you're looking for a gun mainly used for plinking and have absoloutely no intention of airsofting, you're much better off with a bb gun, mainly because the the gun itself is much more accurate and faster than a airsoft gun [editline]26th April 2011[/editline] Not to mention the guns are relatively cheaper than airsoft guns and you could use .22 pellets which can be filled with match tips to become explosive rounds :q:

Explosive .22: http://www.wonderhowto.com/how-to-make-incendiary-ammo-284326/

http://www.amazon.com/Daisy-Ryder-70th-Anniversary-rifle/dp/B000YAZ6OG (sorry for dragging this on so much, I understand it's starting to get offtopic) Thanks for the help, by the way (both of you)
(sorry for dragging this on so much, I understand it's starting to get offtopic)
We're used to it. This place is basically GD filled with airsofters.
Besides, that's what this thread is for.
question: OD chest rig, is that good? [editline]26th April 2011[/editline] This. [editline]26th April 2011[/editline] Primary fast mags are on my side, those pouches are going to be for tactical protein bars and auxiliary mags
I love my OD chest rig, that's the same listing I got mine from.
tactical protein bars
Win.
Swissarms taclights = good? Y/N
Swissarms taclights = good? Y/N
I haven't heard anything particularly good about anything made by Swissarms. Its all pretty much rebranded chinashit as far as I can tell.
Should I get a Wooden Bonken Sword to "Banzai" eith?
Should I get a Wooden Bonken Sword to "Banzai" eith?
Cold steel ones are probably safer And they look cooler.
I'd rather have an efficient airsoft gun rather than an airsoft gun with annoying recoil.
I would like to have an efficient gun with realistic recoil.
Swissarms taclights = good? Y/N
Only if they have at least 600 lumens.
I would like to have an efficient gun with realistic recoil.
I'm pretty sure everyone wants that.
So something like this, then? http://www.amazon.com/Daisy-Ryder-70th-Anniversary-rifle/dp/B000YAZ6OG (sorry for dragging this on so much, I understand it's starting to get offtopic) Thanks for the help, by the way (both of you)
Red Ryder bb gun is incredibly inaccurate and suffers from a low muzzle velocity, only uses ball pellets, but reliable iirc I suggest going to a sports store and ask around for a better gun that shoots harder and more accurately; I'm sure they'll point you to a good one
Is camo tape (like this) a viable alternative to permanent paint? When wrapped around a rifle's stock/handguard/etc, I mean.

Hey guys, I have a M4 with a fixed front sight. Now the problem is, I'm trying to install a custom handguard on it but it's missing the little ring behind the front sight, so the handguard doesn't "plop" into place. Any ideas how to fix this?
Anyone know how to remove the barrel clamp on an M203? Just bought one to mount onto my SR10 and the gas block is in the way. [editline]29th April 2011[/editline] It's an Echo 1 M203 by the way.
I'll ask what I asked a few days ago again as I didn't get any help and I may as well try again. I have a CA M15A4 tactical carbine (google it), it has a fixed stock, but I want to replace it with a crane stock. Only problem is, the battery is a large type one, and it's wired to fit in the stock. Could I get a stock which fits the battery in?
