Anyone know how to remove the barrel clamp on an M203? Just bought one to mount onto my SR10 and the gas block is in the way. [editline]29th April 2011[/editline] It's an Echo 1 M203 by the way.
OK, I got it off but now I have another problem. The trigger guard for the M203 just falls down, it doesn't stay up... how do I make it stay up?
did you mount it? its supposed to catch on the little lip at the bottom of the mag well
did you mount it? its supposed to catch on the little lip at the bottom of the mag well
I know but I can't mount the M203 far back enough so that the trigger guard latches onto the magwell... :/
I'll ask what I asked a few days ago again as I didn't get any help and I may as well try again. I have a CA M15A4 tactical carbine (google it), it has a fixed stock, but I want to replace it with a crane stock. Only problem is, the battery is a large type one, and it's wired to fit in the stock. Could I get a stock which fits the battery in?
I suppose you could get a large to small converter to go along with the crane battery. Im not sure of how much room there would be, though. Also, OFWGKTA. [editline]29th April 2011[/editline] Oops, missread that. Okay, if you get a crane stock, you need a crane stock battery. A stick type might work, but its usually best to go nunchuck or "crane type". They dont make large type batteries that will fit that as far as I know, so youll still need a converter or you could snip the large head and splice a small one.

My M4 looks horrible with a full stock. Odd Future is where it's at.
I know but I can't mount the M203 far back enough so that the trigger guard latches onto the magwell... :/
well who needs trigger guards
well who needs trigger guards
Ended up putting a small piece of electrical tape on the piece that allows the trigger guard to move. It works for now... but I hate using tape to fix shit cuz it's too ghetto and looks dumb as fuck.
it'd look fine if you.. had an AK. :smug:
sorry but I love my U.S. stuff too much
Need some help. For some reason I can't find the lengths of standard M4 and M16 handguards. I want to buy a rail system but I'm not sure how long it should be. The M4 RIS I'm trying to get is 6.5" The M16 RIS I want is 11.5" Are these the correct lengths? Should be from the Delta Ring to the front sight post.
HELP WHAT BUY I have just about 40 bucks. Should I save moar and buy CADPAT off of WolvezSoulz, or spend it on mags? Should I get a Dealextreme ACOG? Suggestions gogogogo
cadpat
ACOG
If you get the ACOG off dealextreme, you'll have to wait ages for shipping. Took about a week just to process the order.
Yeah, I know, I have a backordered cheap chinashit sling coming from dealextreme right now :v: Hmm, I might get more dosh tomorrow, but I'm still open to suggestions. I just need help making up my mind.

I don't have any russian weaponry, the only thing I would have in the semi-future would probably be a DBoys AKS-74 or an E1 RPK like, next winter
Don't get a Russian loadout. Get something infinitely more awesome, like a WWII GI loadout.
Or take the lazy route and say you're a PMC so you can wear anythings.
Why would anyone buy this? They make slings for rifles you know. http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.php?products_id=8129&osCsid=2u4g0idt2pgmhkoen6jbehdmi6
I saw that and thought the same thing.
shotgun scabbards are badass though totally impractical, but it's pretty badass to see someone pull one out from above the shoulder
Good luck putting it back quickly.
shotgun scabbards are badass though totally impractical, but it's pretty badass to see someone pull one out from above the shoulder
The problem is pulling it out all the way on the first pull. I usually had to use 2 hands to pull out my M1014 with it. It was a bitch. Sling was so much easier to use.
I would like a famas are there any good ones
TM makes a good one. I think the only good one, too.
The TM Famas is great. Only problem is that the plastic body is a little squeaky and feels somewhat flimsy, but its fine.
Can someone link me to a cheapish helmet? Preferably a Russian model because I am going to write well known phrases in Russian on the cover. Like a Vietnam helmet, but in Russian. [editline]1st May 2011[/editline] Also as far as I know, since the Chinese Government destroyed the Chinese clones molds, Famases are hard to find now. At least thats what I've been told.
How does this work? Whats with the extra length on the top if I already have flat top rails. http://www.airsoftpost.com/product_info.php?products_id=28424
How does this work? Whats with the extra length on the top if I already have flat top rails. http://www.airsoftpost.com/product_info.php?products_id=28424
Some people like having the extra space to stick an optic on with a magnifier behind it: [img_thumb]http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f191/Artood2s/Airsoft/ACM/Eotech%20Round%20Magnifier/E-3xR.jpg[/img_thumb] Another popular use for the rail space is adding flip-up iron sights to the front and rear rails. One of my annoyances with the AR platform is the intrusive fixed front sight on the gas block - with flip-up iron sights (like those found on a standard SCAR), you can just keep them down and out-of-the-way while using an optic and flip them back up if your optic dies or shatters.
