After my friend and his dad both bought full Systema gearboxes for their CA M4's and had nothing but problems with them I've decided to keep away from them. Plus my experience with Systemas TBB's has been bad, had worse accuracy than my stock 6.08 barrel.
I distinctly remember the gun coming with a cleaning rod but it was badly packaged and I seemed to (call me stupid) lost it. What should I do now? As for pulling the mag out, What do you mean by cloth, can I just use something that I can tighten and will have a grip?
I said cloth because you don't want to apply too much pressure to any one point of the plastic and risk breaking your magazine. If you're not worried about this, though, then go ahead and get a good grip 'n pull.

Then feel free to just grab and tug

Anything but Systema, Madbull, and G&G should be good for buckings.
Should I upgrade my KWA SR10 internally? It's in stock form as of now.
So, what do you guys recommend for a bucking?
So, what do you guys recommend for a bucking?
Firefly is god tier
So, what do you guys recommend for a bucking?
I'm really glad I reread that. I saw it first as "What do you guys recommend for a good fucking?" Needless to say, I lol'd. :v:
Firefly is god tier
Too bad I can never find the fuckers in stock.
Firefly is god tier
Do I need a soft or hard bucking? (Identity, I swear...:v:)
Do I need a soft or hard bucking? (Identity, I swear...:v:)
I giggled. :v: Most people would prefer a hard bucking. Wink.
Soft if you aren't shooting at very high fps.
I like a man with a hard bucking. I can really feel his FPS when he shoots me.
Do you have any idea how to put the little ring behind the fixed front sight on a M4? As mine didn't come with one
I played my first skirmish a few weeks back on what I believe was the JG G36C. It was proper fun, and the gun that I was renting wasnt that bad, I mean on the mags the joining knobs were broken on both mags I rented, and my friends hop-up cocking handle was broken off, but I hit atleast 4 people the entire day. (Noob). I'm looking for a gun to start out with, cheap and for starters, an AEG, preferably M4/16 style. It'll take me about a year to save up about £200 so let's call that my budget. Anybody able to lend a hand? P.S. needs to be 2 tone, and available in the UK. Something which it's FPS is above 280, because I don't go to the front of the fight as I stay back, and need the range. Thanks dudes!
Dboys M4 CASV would fit the other requirements, but can you handle the fact that you need to use a PEQ box?
What's a PEQ box? (Checking the M4, thanks for the response )
It's a (fake) laser device, used to keep the battery in
It's a (fake) laser device, used to keep the battery in
Awesome, I saw a guy at the skirmish who let me hold his (Heavy + full metal) M4 and I wondered what it was.
It's a (fake) laser device, used to keep the battery in
Uh, not all airsoft PEQ boxes are battery holders.
Note that it shoots 420fps, so you can't play in most indoor fields.
Note that it shoots 420fps, so you can't play in most indoor fields.
The limit where I go is 350 (Shitty), what if I used .35's?
They will probably be chronoing your gun with .2 so it wouldn't make it in still.
You can always weaken the spring, but it'll cost more.
They will probably be chronoing your gun with .2 so it wouldn't make it in still.
Probably :( I'd say a Meter long supressor but that would look stupid! Well, I wouldn't say that 420 would be ideal for a starter.. what about less powered batteries? (Sorry for the noob questions) Maybe I should look for a different gun =|
King arms P90?
King arms P90?
I'll look into it :) But cannot find it on eBay or anywhere, I suppose it's name wont be "p90"? I'll check the website
The limit where I go is 350 (Shitty), what if I used .35's?
No, changing your BBs does not change the power of your gun. Read this and play with the calculator: http://www.arniesairsoft.co.uk/?filnavn=/articles/fps_limits/fps_calc.htm An FPS limit of 350 is not "shitty", it's for your own safety. Generally, velocity limits like that are to ensure that nobody gets seriously injured in close quarters. The FPS of a gun is just the muzzle velocity, the BB slows down as it travels - most fields have a "minimum engagement distance" for certain weapons. If your opponent is below the minimum engagement distance, there are other ways of resolving who kills who.
Well, I wouldn't say that 420 would be ideal for a starter.. what about less powered batteries? (Sorry for the noob questions) Maybe I should look for a different gun =|
No, the battery doesn't change the velocity of your gun either. A higher-voltage battery increases your rate of fire, and a battery with higher amperage will last longer. Stores will tell you that a gun with higher FPS is automatically superior to one with lower FPS. It's a myth targeted at new players with money to throw around - don't be taken advantage of. Changing a gun's velocity takes only a few minutes and involves switching the spring with a stronger or weaker one. A stronger spring slightly increases the maximum range, and will break your gearbox more quickly from the mechanical stress. A brand new Tokyo Marui AEG shooting at 280fps will always be more accurate than a brand new Jing Gong AEG shooting at 400fps. The important parts are the better-quality hop-up bucking and barrel. Just get a generic, popular AEG and play with it until it breaks. Living in Britain, you're kind of fucked because AEGs will be overpriced and it's going to be inconvenient to find popular ones. Anything by Jing Gong is a good place to start.
I took apart my G&G MP5A4 with electric blowback, to clean it and to get familiar with it, and when I put it back, the "shell ejector" port doesn't slide very well, and often gets stuck. I can try to put it in so that there is more room for it to move, but then the stock will not fit on the bottom, because I shifted it to make room for the blowback. Any suggestions? If I leave it will it fuck my gun up? It's electric blowback, so it's not needed for it to work, however, I don't want some part connected to it in the gearbox to break. Help.
